@Samuel Palmer If you had seen the game it wasn't Tillman fault, he was the one that got hit by a challenge and was on the ground when Rangers kicked the ball out of play so he literally didn't see it happen, when he got back up he had no idea.

I don't think Beale had a choice. It would have looked crass otherwise and would have been even more of a talking point than it is now.

The player who scored it was injured and Rangers send the ball out then players of the opponent team they will do the fair play but that idiot take the ball and score

Behave yourself. They started jeering as soon as Thistle took the kick off and kept going while he scored. There was only one sportsman on the Rangers side, thankfully that was Michael Beale.

Thistle kicked and time wasted the whole game, There should be an inquiry into the stamp on Tilman and the assault on him after the goal, Just remember thistle got a goal from VAR and a goal from Gers yet still lost, And Beale is an absolute disgrace He should NEVER have given those hammer throwers a goal! He is a soft touch, Could you imagine Greig , Souness, Smith or any other Gers manager do that?

I despise Rangers , but I can't see for the life of me what was wrong with that goal. Isn't it the ref's job to officiate the game, not tantrum throwing players? If ref calls it back for a foul then that's the decision. PT defense needed to be awake.
It's unwritten football etiquette man. The ball was played out by Rangers for an injured player. The Thistle defender was about the play the ball back to Rangers. It was a breach of protocol to nick the ball away in that instance.

2 things here:
1) thistle wanted to return the ball to rangers 80 yards deeper than when they kicked it out for physio. Rangers took it back at same position they left it but because thistle were unfocused, rangers look like the bad guys.
2) remember why this whole situation happened.
Rangers had to kick the ball out because Miller decided to stamp on the ankle of the rangers player and leave him requiring treatment.
That, in itself should've been free kick and yellow or red.
So the controversial goal could have arguably evened the universe out.
I don't like all this over the top sportsmanship, because it gets abused.
Teams fein injury then timewaste by kicking ball out knowing it will get returned deep and delay opposition turnover.
I'm just surprised that with 1w competitive athletes on the field, no rangers player was opposed enough to seriously defend the pathetic free goal that the weak manager instructed.

Sportsmanship in football is a myth anyway.
Between diving, deliberate time wasting and doing things such as holding the ball at the corner flag where is the sportsmanship?
And that's not even taking into account the issue regarding the amount of money some teams can spend.
Sportsmanship means everything is fair and equal and everyone has a fair chance. Where is that in football? Most teams can't compete with the likes of city and Madrid and psg and that before a balls ever been kicked.

tlman was lying on the ground after being stamped on by the partick player, which shouldve been a red card..he doesnt see the ball getting kicked out and the thistle player takes about 3 touches, taking all day thinking about kicking the ball back...so how long to do you wait..how many touches does he want? Fortunate for him, Rangers play the game correctly...this same thing cant be levelled at Partick Thistle who shouldve been reduced to 9 players at least, the assault on Tilman was ridiculous, but then the ref and VAR were shiocking the whole match...then have the cheek to fire their manager after the game....after what was probbaly one of their best performances in years and they are still in the promotion hunt..so much for sporting integrity thistle...
