Japan pulls world record breaking attendance for their tourney's....I doubt konami is going to sell right now.
Tournament records ain't making them money
The game is significantly more affordable in Japan. People need to stop making that comparison.
I don't mind the reprint sets or any one similar to "Rarity Collection". Typically, archetype-specific cards lose some value, but staples only increase over time. However, a 278 card set screams short prints in the making.

"Sony would be better thank konami" OH HELL NO! Look what they did to PlayStation, crunchyroll/funimation, and literally everything they touch. They turn it into live service trash, wokify it, and ruin it.
Sony would also almost certainly go after 3rd party simulators which would really hurt the competitive and casual scene

Like literally none of the playstation games are live service.... the last of us, horizon, ratchet and clank, god of war, ghost of tsushima, death stranding, returnal, spiderman dont have a live service and most dont even have dlc... even stellar blade and final fantasy. Destiny is the only one i can think of, and Gran Turismo with the microtransactions
You say reprints, I say banlist targets, this is zoodiacs all over again, the deck was hated so bad, that konami reprints the expensive cards and then bans them a month later

hey remember when wizards of the coast reprinted so many magic the gathering cards in so many different rarities in the same sets multiple times in just a year and a half to the point of causing most major retailers including troll and toad to drop the card game all together? yea looks like yugioh is doing the same thing.
I wonder if the boxes will tank like Korean cards. Over in Korean instead of making reprint sets they just take ocg sets and release like normal but they reprint whole boxes randomly. Like a year ago dark beginning 2 and dark revelations 4 got reprinted for the first time in like 15 years. It tanks the sealed market I wonder if that will happen here eventually
The only time I ever spend money on a high rarity card is if it’s a card I like for example infinitrack brutal dozer is a common I wanted a high rarity so bad but hey Konami wants to scam us

I doubt it, it was reprinted in last year's Tin plus it makes sense to Limit Fenrir anyway, a strong ban hammer needs to hit generic good cards and he is one of them.
Who cares, its for collectors. Its not for everyone.

Nobody is complaining about accessibility for everyone, But the max rarirty inflation. This screws ppl that paid the premium prices to get QCR. Not everyone needs QCR to play the game. This screws over vendors and collectors that bought it early. This is extremely greedy. Long term, no one would ever buy these premium cards anymore because komoney set the precedent with their recent behavior that they will screw them over.
@@Jackle919 they aren't reprinting QCRS, it says it in the product description what are you talking about? They ARE making QCRS only for cards that NEVER received it. The vendors will be just fine because the set list be good enough to sell it. However, your AT HOME VENDOR BRO will absolutely suffer because their own bad calls, picks, and timing of the market. If you really knew the market you could see this coming a mile away. Konami sucks ass dont get me wrong and i always speak against them. but this product seems good. people are just upset with the market reset. and YES everyone can and should have the abilitly to add QCRS to their decks. and its should NOT be locked away at a high price point. ocg flourishes with the card availabe of each set, stablizing the high rarity price point, and the sets sell well because people know they can get a SP little night in super, ultra, or common etc in the same booster box.
As an edison player who doesn't care about value, just shiny, I'm eating well lol.

Konami why? Stop focusing on high rarity buffs, and just make actually decent sets.
Also, while there were edison cards, a lot of edison players really didnt like the choices for rc2, as the cards reprinted werent cards that actually needed to be reprinted (like magical android).
Honestly, this is great. It loweres the price ceiling of getting good cards and in a good rarity. Maybe people should stop treating card games as the stock market and accept stuff like this is bound to happen

Is the game dying?
No, but it is liable to fall out of the big 3, because not only is Konami still as foolish as ever with their card distribution, but up and coming card games are absolutely destroying yugioh in the prizing and tournament organization market.
Yeah konami forced me to sell my entire collection even my favorite cards. It's not worth it anymore
