  • Dal mash is a traditional dish served in luxurious restauranttsband is made by frying daal in a special tadka. to prepare recipe follow given instructions
    Add half cup oil
    Add 10-15 cloves/Laung
    Fry for 2-3 min
    1 medium sized chopped onion
    Fry until light pink
    Add 5-6 green chillies
    Fry for 2-3 minutes
    Add 1 and half TSP of ginger garlic paste
    Fry for 2-3 minutes
    Add half cup Tomato paste
    Salt to taste
    Red chilli powder/Lal mirch powder 1 TSP
    Turmeric powder/Haldi powder 1 TSP
    Cook for 2-3 minutes
    Add 1 cup soaked and boiled Dal mash
    Cook for 5 minutes
    Tadhka preparation
    Add 2 Tbsp oil in frying pan
    Heat up oil
    Add 12-15 whole red chillies
    Fry until change in colour
    1 TSP cumin seeds/zeera
    Fry for few seconds
    Turn off flame
    Add tadhka to prepared daal
    Give it a good mix
    Garnish with ginger
