Hopefully no one has gone out and bought an 8'x10' rug for their queen bed and expected it to match the proportions in the image shared in this video (which is more representative of a 5.5'x7' rug given that most queen bed frames are under 7.5' long and about 5.5' wide, and most bedside tables are 15" to 17" deep).
When spaced a foot or more away from your bedside tables as recommended, an 8'x10' rug would protrude at least 36" past the foot of the bed and 27" out to each side.
Personally, I would recommend 6'x9' rug for a smaller bedroom which would give you about 21" of rug on each side of the bed and 12" of rug at the foot of the bed if the rug was spaced just 1' from your bedside tables. You could definitely go with an 8'x10' rug in a larger bedroom, but don't expect the proportions to look anything like example shared in this video!

Hi not sure if you’ll read this comment a month halter, but wondering if the first off white vintage rug has grey and cognac colors or if theyre more of a beige and blue? Or if you wouldn’t mind recommending which one of all of them would go with grey and cognac? Trying to find a rug. It’s soo difficult. TFS❣️

Hi there - I’ve enjoyed watching your videos. I’m on the verge of purchasing the Silver Florid Dreams rug (I think it looks beautiful in your space). Can you explain what you mean by “it looks a little more ruggish”? I’m not following that comment and would appreciate your take on the different in rug materials. Thank you!!

My $1,000 jute rug unraveled and the store would not stand behind it. I have more expensive rugs, but also less expensive. Because I tend to be a dog and puppy lover, so less expensive rugs are my priority now days.

I'm from West Bengal, India. Jute is very, very cheap (affordable) I come from. Also, why are you promoting cow hide rugs instead of vegan rugs? It's the 21st century, girl. Animals don't need to die for your vanity.
