I got some expensive, made-in-the-USA boots from Thursday. They arrived covered in sticky, white gunk and scratches. I contacted their customer support and got nowhere. They are also refusing to accept the return and blaming me while simultaneously saying that the problem I was having is "normal" for leather boots... I haven't even worn them yet. I also posted a review on their site, but since it wasn't positive, it doesn't show on their site.
Huh, that's really weird. If you're on Facebook there is a Thursday boots enthusiasts account, if you share there, someone might have some insight on that issue. I can't think of why they would be like that.
I own 9 pair of Thursday's boots over 5 years. Their QC has gone down the drain, and their CS blames the consumer and refuses to take responsibility. Also, never get an exchange since they send other people's faulty returns as exchanges. I learned that the hard way. They even paid RoseAnvil to run an ad for the sole purpose of downplaying the issue and gaslighting their own consumers. And the funny thing is, rhe boot they originally sent him was faulty, so they had to go back and specifically pick out a non-faulty one so he could successfully lie to us on Thursday's behalf. Submit a report to BBB since Thursday isn't large enough to ignore it. Also, they hire random stay-at-home people off the internet for their CS. Ridiculous.
My Explorer Thursday boots were the most comfortable boots I've had when I got them. Great boots. But the only issue I had which is kinda a big deal, was the soul of the boots wore out extremely fast. I mean like in 4-5 months of daily use they were to wore to wear. Did you have that problem?
@@lukuscarter3563 I wear them a lot from fall to spring but only a few hours at a time because I work a lot and use work boots most the time. A few years of owning them and wearing them in cooler months I've seen no concerning wear besides more wear twords the heels. Possibly the way I walk saves them but they also may have changed their formula for sole construction.
@@jrengo87 That's interesting. I guess they could have changed their formula since I got mine. I purchased my Thursday boots mid 2021. They were practically smooth over 70% of the soul of the boot. I took them to get re souled and the shoe cobbler messed them up.
@@lukuscarter3563 figures. That's what I worry about is a cobbler messing up mine. I see lots of happy people get them redone on TH-cam but with my luck mine would get messed up too.
Hard choice. I'd say if you want something that can be dressed up a little or look nice, casa moto. If you want a boot to wear anywhere you don't have to care for much and can't be dressed up, explorers
There's not much online in reviews on their zipper boots. Looking between the Major and the Stomper. I like the style of Stomper but the outsole looks big. Might get the Major's for the size and weight.
From what I can tell the majors look dressier. If youre on Facebook you can join the Thursday Boots Enthusiast group and see other people's pictures and what they think of them.
@@jrengo87 I like the Stomper because it looks like a zipper version of the Commander which I’ve had for a long time now. It’s very simple. The size though, too rugged.

Keeps the gun in the boots 😂
Oh the pistol just happens o be laying out. Really…
Cool, I just got the stomper boots.
Very nice. I've had my eye on those.
On their website they say to order 1/2 size smaller than what you wear in sneakers.

Good review. These look heavy, how much do they weigh? Would you purchase them again?
I'm currently debating between buying either the Explorers or the Casa Moto's, if you had to pick which pair would you say you prefer?

Could you make a video on how you polished the side of your Kahr slide?
My casa mottos are taller than my Explorer boots.
Imagine the feedback if a man told women of any age what they should wear......
