Perhaps In-ho will return to the bright side and become an ally. He clearly respects Gi-hoon and tries to understand his point of view. And the frontman's opinion about the world may change, seeing someone like the main character who still believes that there are good people, despite what he went through at the games.
@@Vestlus1 SPOILERS he is caught messing with one of the drones and kills the guy that sees him by stabbing him and throwing him over the side of the boat.
Notice in the 2nd game, they were the last group to play the game, its because incase they lose the game, the guard will kill the 4 people except the front man, so if they do these with a lot of witnesses, the plan will be screwed
@mavsfanforever7919 at the end aswell when he killed jung bae in front of gihun in cold blood. He could've shot both there easily and considering how gi hun literally killed a lot of his men. Front man has some anger on that for sure. But I'm certain he doesn't want gi hun to die hence why he kept gi hun alive in the end because he might have some sort of plan. I personally think season 2 isn't as good as season 1 but it's still a really good season in general. But it would age better once season 3 comes because they've used that entire season to do a build up more than anything. The stakes seems to be higher but I'm didn't feel like the stakes were as high for me. Don't know why, might have to rewatch it. The games this season though I will say, maybe people won't agree with me on this, but I think it's better. It's a little more intense and there's still 3 games left as well. And when they said that how ever much money they've accumulated together that they will share it between the players. I think it's defintely a nice change to the first season. But I think it's all part of front man's plan for that to happen to make the players think they will survive and share the money. The games are suppose to be sadistic. I do think that only one player will survive.
In my books, the best scene from season 2 is the roulette game between Seong Gi-hun and the recruiter. You have to give credit to Gong yoo, even with sharp facial expressions and the decent get up, he was still able to convey the twisted mentality and disgust which had us all on the edge of our seats even if we had the idea of who was making it out alive. Flawless acting by both the actors in that magnificent scene👏👏👏
I believe that the recurtier was ready to end his own life. He had enough of the role he played. After the homeless people refused the "bread" and instead chose the lottery ticket broke the recruiter.
The front man being 001 was hilarious and awkward and also surprising when he plays along helping gi-hun trying to convince people to end the game and even shoot the pink soldiers in the uprising
Not adding young-mi’s death during the carousel game is criminal, when she came to the door and sobbed “Unnie” I was sobbing right with her, the most upsetting scene by far and the actor who played the transgender woman was incredible in this scene
True enough. Despite the problematic casting, Park Sung hoon, who plays the transgender Hyunju, really broke my heart as he cried for her while fruitlessly trying to save her. He deserves to be given a male lead or at least an award for his superb acting here
"Humanizing pink jumpsuits" is a great take. We talk about management and players a lot, but not the guards so, introducing back stories to the guards is genius from the writer. Everyone associated with the game has a story and is more than just a pretty face (yes im talking about the cute guard that was unmasked hehe).
Yeah it’s a very predictable twist but it’s still really well done, the way they withhold his face until the last moment. And it’s even better because Gi-hun has no idea who he is
Yeah its gi-hun’s fault not only does he sacrifice the X’s in the attack, he doesnt allow the O’s to get killed and brings along more X’s and fails his uprising leaving the remaining players who wanted to leave pretty much screwed, lets just hope they dont bring back that glass bridge or they somehow manage to end the game with multiple players imagine player 222 having to go through that glass bridge or seeing the mom and son get eliminated
@@Rqbltbecause he wants to leave with as much ppl as he can, be it the O team or X team. By killing each other off, he was just proving the game's point because that's what they want them to do.
I like to believe the whole story being split for season 2 and 3 is a genius idea. By making it longer there is really no reason to complain about the current season being shorter than the first. It just means the stakes really have been set to the highest difficulty making it worth watching.
That only works if season 3 is long enough and not a rushed finale. It would be very disappointing if they give us less than 5 episodes. In that case just do it in parts instead of an entire season. Plus they've already filmed all of it. But I understand the build up, I'll wait.
Bro even tho I knew Gi Jun wasn't gonna die, that recruit guy sure played that scene super well it was so intense it even made me skip the scene and cut to the point 😂😂😂😂😂
There's absolutely no way the frontman being 001 isn't #1, just no way. If you're gonna put Thanos getting offed on here then you need to have the ship's captain turning (or finally getting caught), which was predictable.
I honestly loved Thanos, he deserved what happened to him in the end but he was still funny af, I was laughing my ass off when he spoke English and especially when he was dancing like a little girl on the carousel😂😂
10th and 9th is at my 2nd and 1st, respectively. I wasn't initially too excited to watch this season even though I highly enjoyed the 1st. But watching episode 1 with all the recruiter's scenes, got me to binge this season in one sitting. This season is still generally entertaining, not as tense as the 1st season (except ep 1, best episode) but still enjoyable.
The Seong Gi-hun decision of sacrificing his fellow Xs’ lives to achieve a “greater good” scene made The Front Man In-ho kinda shocked that Gi-hun came to the same conclusion as the masters of The Game.
It really isn't If you really use your brain. It was so obvious that he was going to infiltrate, Gi Hun being back at the game, his actions in the first game. Many people lived because of him, they had to keep the game going somehow and not let the X vote win so Gi Hun could go home. They know he's on to them and with 45.6 billion won he could've get them.
At the end of season 1 when the front man shot his bro,i think the captain of the boat was a plant by the frontman cos he didnt wont him to die but made the captain keep an eye on him and thwart his brothers plan in s2
Man it sucks when you forget almost everything that happened in Season 1 lol. I was so confused when I saw Gi-hun acting like he didn’t recognise the Frontman, I’m only now just remembering that he’s never seen his face 🤦🏽♂️ imagine how dumb I feel haha. I’m probably gonna have another rewatch soon since there’s still a few things I was confused about, Season 2’s been amazing.
Honestly the death of Thanos wasn't shocking at all. The reveal of the front man as player 001 was way more shocking, and the fact that ya'll didn't include the fact that the captain of the boat was a spy the whole time is crazy. I'm sorry, but whoever made this list clearly didn't know what they were doing.
Wild theory: Could Oh Young Il be frontman's real name and that he is Oh Il Nam's son? Jun Ho in his conversation with his mum did specify that In Ho is his stepbrother - they are not blood related. Young Il have been merciful to Gi Hun and testing him at every opportunity available maybe because Gi Hun had been nice person to his Dad before his passing. Anyone found a clue that specify that this theory is untrue?
The uprising of last episode is the absolute worst. Those players Gihun gathered are in the games for the money not to help Gihun with his uprising. How Gihun manage to convince them to fight the soldiers is a major plot hole
Guess u didn't notice but the ones who gathered are the ones who wanted to go back home not the ones who wanted to stay back so your theory falls flat... Even if they want to leave the game they can't because they have the chances of failing in the voting as the ones who stayed back attacked anyway so that the number of voters who will stay back to play the game would be more
I really liked. You gotta remember. Not a lot of people did join, and all those who did were x's. Also, they had like 5 ex military, one who used to be special forces, and the guard we know about was a carnival worker, so you can probably assume the other guards aren't very experienced, especially with the surprise of an entire uprising
@@monodeepbasumatary4353 hmm those people wanted to go home but with the money. I get that they might not be able to leave the game even if they want after the attack. But they all agreed with Gihun's motivation prior to the attack (while they still outnumber the 'O's) After they succeeded the first takedown in dormitory, the odds were still stacked heavily against them especially w so many more soldiers and so little of them in a foreign battleground. However, I guess in life and death scenario sometimes it is hard to rationalize your decision so perhaps that's the cover for the plot hole imo.
Ralph is 100% right. They may have had Xs but they did not sign up for bloody combat. And let’s not forget that our “hero” sacrificed innocent people to get those guns. Two huge plot holes.
The ending of episode 1 was even more tense when you realise that the Recruiter is never a "Rule-breaker", so they left us with the question of will he cheat his way out of the game he commenced or die knowing he always played by the rules.
The moment when gi hun and front man rescue the old woman to make a team of 3 in the "Mingle" gang was so badass. Although I predicted that he'd betray at some point, I somewhat started to like him because of his back story. Can't wait for jun-ho to find the correct island in S3. ❤🔥
The tracker device from Gi Hun's tooth being found in a completely different location was also kinda shocking in my opinion. Who could have possibly done that?
The captain was in on it all along, so when cop man bro and crew relayed tooth homing signal plan, cappy relayed to masters and then threw them off course
The loan shark, the broker and Wooseok are surprisingly the good guys here, and maybe the recruited gunmen. Noeul, the girl that’s looking for her child, however is the antagonist. Side characters that you love but died? Youngmi, Semi and Gyeongseok.
My top moments were the roulette, 001 being the front man, the grandma getting grabbed at the last minute by gihun and front man( i thought she was a goner in that game), sailor boy being a traitor, hyunju slapping the shaman and their team winning, yeongmi's death made me cry a lot and caught me off guard, and jungbae's death. I wish i could say thanos' death was good but it was mid, it should have been more dramatic.
I have no idea what koreans are on about when they say t.o.p is bad at acting, he was the most entertaining character in this season. Russian roulette scene and t.o.p carried the show. Ending was super boring
Russian roulette with those guys we just were introduced to was not as shocking as the boat captain being the inside man reveal. I did sort of suspect something was off about him though.
Why are people surprise with the reveal that Young-il is In-ho? I mean, his face was kinda shown in the first episode of the second season it was an obvious alias for us viewers. To me, more shocking moment was P390 witnessing In-ho killing that one guy in a room
jung baes death was like number 2 or 1 even, saying thanos's death was 1 is crazy, it deserves like number 4 or 5 spot. I did feel bad for thanos tho, he was hella funny, wish he didnt die but instead got disciplined by Inho. wanted him to be in s3. the only thing i ask for s3 at this point is that we finally get a happy ending and that Junhee isn't killed and she is able to live her life peacefully after they stop the games Also what about Captain Park? My theory for him is that he had been working for Inho since season 1. He had either already been working for Inho or Inho hired him the day that he shot his brother, just to make sure that Junho lives. Inho prolly told the captain to save Junho and do everything he says to earn his trust. But then inform him if Junho tries anything, which is why they found the tracker in Gihun because Captain park most likely informed inho about it

Hello did you see the captain of the boat betray our heroes??
How isn't the carousel game on this list?
Its the hero from Train to Busan, absolutely love that film 😮
I don’t get it why the main actor trusted 001 player again
He doesn't know he's the front man, he never seen his face.
Revelation of player 001 was most shocking
I couldn't believe it when the Crow rose from the dead after being shot in red light / green light...
Well season 2 was middle point but casting was insane cause most of known actor in korea participated was really interesting
what about the triangle cookie ?
Ya that had me duk duk 😂
Nightmare fuel only
Dae-ho and Thanos were EASILY my favorite characters in season 2
Season One was better 😊
they brought out koreas top actors for this show. Lee Jung Jae, Oh Dael Su, Gong Yu, Lee Byun Hyun, etc.
The scene shocked me the most was the betrayal from the fisherman 😢😢
They sholudve kept recruiter as neutral 😔
Before Squid Game - Rock Paper Scissor
After Squid Game - Rock Paper Scissor Minus One
Thanos was genuinely tweaking
The real shock moment was the second game when the guy struggled to hit a rock
I laughed all the way 😂
I have no idea what koreans are on about when they say t.o.p is bad at acting, he was the most entertaining character in this season. Russian roulette scene and t.o.p carried the show. Ending was super boring
Maybe they didn't understand that he was acting like that intentionally
I really hate the guy that was getting the ammo from the guard and he drop the radio which lead to the downfall of the team i hate that guy so much
He's part of the reason why they lost the shootout😭
He has PTSD
Idc he the reason my boy mc los this friends
He reminds me of a coward character in Saving Private Ryan movie with the same issue
He's either inexperienced who never went on combat or have serious trauma
Glad im not the only binge watcher
wow the reveal of the front man shouldve been num 1
Personally, I’d switch #2 to #1. Additionally, #2 imo is the moment the captain is revealed to be against them.
Season 1 > season 2
The kangaroo was too stunned to speak
I literally stood up and cheered when Thanos was killed
Russian roulette with those guys we just were introduced to was not as shocking as the boat captain being the inside man reveal. I did sort of suspect something was off about him though.
6:59 she has for sure... that's why she chose to be the one to shoot him and even took him to the side so that the others won't see where she shot
thanos probably died to soon because of all the backlash of the actor with drugs
Why are people surprise with the reveal that Young-il is In-ho? I mean, his face was kinda shown in the first episode of the second season it was an obvious alias for us viewers. To me, more shocking moment was P390 witnessing In-ho killing that one guy in a room
Thanos death was so nice
Belum nonton lagi, mana penasaran...
When they shot the underground door on the island I think it was the vip escape ladder that explodes for the vip to escape
How annoying and cringey was Thanos 😮
jung baes death was like number 2 or 1 even, saying thanos's death was 1 is crazy, it deserves like number 4 or 5 spot. I did feel bad for thanos tho, he was hella funny, wish he didnt die but instead got disciplined by Inho. wanted him to be in s3.
the only thing i ask for s3 at this point is that we finally get a happy ending and that Junhee isn't killed and she is able to live her life peacefully after they stop the games
Also what about Captain Park? My theory for him is that he had been working for Inho since season 1. He had either already been working for Inho or Inho hired him the day that he shot his brother, just to make sure that Junho lives. Inho prolly told the captain to save Junho and do everything he says to earn his trust. But then inform him if Junho tries anything, which is why they found the tracker in Gihun because Captain park most likely informed inho about it
The boat captain!!! Shit had me shook
