I fell in love with the lantern cloche idea. Its beautiful!!! It doesn't look like a thrifted piece at all. So many ideas. Away we go to the thrift store!!! 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Sherry at Canterbury Cottage is how I found you, Julie as well as Teresa.I am very glad about that! So,I have liked and subscribed to your channel now! And when you said, "Hello, y'all," I felt right at home! I'm in the South, too! Saying 'y'all' is practically required to be a true Southerner! I am watching how you make your ideas come to life! I can see and hear how much you enjoy what you do. Creative people MUST create, don't you think? I have always been that way and then, my dear daughter and I loved to admire each other's projects and we brainstormed together and then did projects together. When I would see different things in clouds, for example, she could instantly see what I was referring to. And then, she would point out more to me- so I could see right away through HER eyes, too. What a lot of fun, relaxing, enjoying and sharing these things with each other. So I am grateful to Sherry at Canterbury Cottage and y"all's great idea to collaborate. And boy, do I love a bargain and then turn it into something different and usually, I think, better! Sorry if that sounded like bragging-bit that is what are trying to do, right? Thank you very much! She and I SO wanted a studio together where we could be organized and then also be able to close a door and no cats, dogs, etc. get in. So much easier than setting everything out and then have to get it all out again--while protecting what we had made or was a work in progress-WIP! I look forward to more of all y'all's channels and terrific ideas. And thank you to all for listing supplies, brands, all that good 'stuff' you need to know, below. Yes, the printables are great. Nice to meet you :) Terri
*Julie - I forgot to say how much I liked the lantern cloche❣❤🥰* *I have been a subscriber to Sherry's Canterbury Cottage since the beginning of her channel, and you are correct when you said she L❄VES upcycling lanterns❣🤣💚☃️* *She has shown us SO MANY lantern transformations...uses I never would have thought of on my own...and I like to think 🤔 I am pretty creative‼️🤪🤣🎄🎁 You did Sherry proud 👏👏👏 with your lantern project, my friend❣🥳🥰*
HA! I cannot believe we both used embroidery hoops inspired by each other! I love how you made that one I got at the yard sale. You nailed it perfectly and all of your projects were the BEST. Thanks for more inspiration and especially how I can use my embroidery hoop on the stand. I always we knew we were Southern bred and drop cloth, embroidery hoop fed! So enjoyed this collab with you and Sherry! It was so much fun!
They were all beautiful and genius, but I especially loved the basket for the back of the dining room chair. I was also super impressed with the light-turned lantern and the simplicity of the sweater projects!
The embroidery hoop is exactly what it’s for. You do your embroidery in it and it’s a stand you can sit somewhere when it’s not being worked on.so your handwork is art. You did some amazing projects!
The lantern, the sweater projects, the embroidery hoop, the chair basket, the bait bucket, I love them all! Also, the brass bunny with the red scarf is just 🥰😍🥰!!
Julie, you three girls are my favorites on U-Tube, it’s like I told Teresa ,watching you three in a collab is like waking up Xmas morning as a child, Julie I loved the JOY SIGN ,you are all amazing xxxx
Julie I wish I could spend a week in your brain. The imagination that you have it incredible. I find things and know they can be something but I don't have the foresight to make it happen. I love everything you do! Your style fits perfectly into my decor. You keep creating and I'll keep hoping one day to grow up to be just like you.
Everything was soooooo cute! Your lantern turned out great-I only paint them if the glass comes out, but you’re right that chalk paint scrapes off easily. I loved the sled redo-so clever to add clips for photos!
Julie… what amazing ladies you have paired up with ! Sherry and you blow my mind with your creativity! Our Green Acres I have only seen a couple of time..but she is incredible and love her accent just like I do yours ! LOL!!!! How genius to use the sweater around the big round wood box! I have one that is over 60 years old….I will HAVE TO FIND or purchase a cheap knit sweater and do that ! You did so many projects that I love.. but the Embroidery Hoop….LOVE that with the JOY …… I do the same thing with ribbon …only I roll it back up no matter how long or short.. bag it up and pull it back out years later ! NO… I do not save wrapping paper or iron it ….😂😂😂😂😂 There is a limit to my madness 🤪 Excellent video….can’t wait to hit Sherry next ! ❤️❤️🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲❤️❤️
Excited? Are you kidding me you three are seriously my top crafters designers flippers and artists All rolled up into one thank you for these awesome ideas Julie and I can’t wait to implement them into my Decour for Christmas God bless
You mind is definitely a crafters brain! I think I like the sweater Idea for my big tree. Now if I could find a round box? I did make my own cloche by glutting a glass knob onto a bowl. I is pretty. I gave my daughter all my old cookie cutters. oh well!! We call that metal bucket a minnow bucket. I am enjoying you a lot. thanks Joyce
you brought the spindles back!!! I could watch videos with the spindle ideas all day! Absolutely gonna make that project! I might even try to do the holder with a simple wood sign that can flip so it has two different signs to choose from :)❤️
I loved the simple but clever use of the sweater to cozy up the container. Years ago my mom washed a “dry clean only” red Fair Isle sweater I loved….wish I still had it!
Dee Whiz 38 minutes ago Soooo inspirational Julie!! Thank you for sharing such great ideas!!! Really appreciate the joint event with Canterbury Cottage and Our Greene Acres!!
OMG Julie you never cease to amaze me!!!! I absolutely adore everything! The lantern and embroidery hoop I think are my favourite though!!!! Always look forward to your videos. I get soooo excited!!!! Adore everything all the time!!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love the sweater ideas. I had a bag of clothes to donate to Vietnam Veterans. I knew there was a white sweater in there so got it out and will be using it for some Christmas decorations. Thanks for the timely save. The veterans will be picking up Thursday.
I am enjoying the collaboration, I have been following Sherry for over a year and I’m excited to check out Teresa‘s channel. It’s hard to pick a favorite since all of your ideas fit my home and personality. I may have to try them all.🎄☃️❄️⛄️🎄❄️☃️
So so cute! I have a tree in my kitchen that I decorate with the vintage cookie cutters (they were my moms), mini rolling pins that I painted the handles red, cinnamon stick bundles and cinnamon/applesauce ornaments that I made eons ago.
*L❤VED the minnow bucket that became the Christmas 🎄 Tree stand the BEST❣‼️🥰 ONLY YOU, JULIE, would think to add tealights to the base for that special illumination INSIDE the bucket❣🙉😁🤪 I am going to try to find an old minnow bucket to use as a Christmas 🎄 Tree stand this year - but I plan to weave fairy lights from Dollar Tree through the branches so my mini Christmas 🎄 Tree has lights as well‼️❤☃️❄*
Three of my favorite channels doing a colab..... AWESOME!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE EMBROIDERY HOOP PROJECT! I am definitely going to have to try that one! Love all your projects! Thank you for all your inspiration!
I will definitely be looking for a wooden paper towel holder to add a hook to. Great ideas! Love the embroidery hoop. Would be cute in a little girl’s room with their initial.
Loved the embroidery hoop, the original is just a stand to put in your lap or even between your knees to keep your embroidery stable while working your stitches!!

The embroidery hoop attached to a wood base is a table top embroidery hoop. It sits on a table while you stitch.
I know 🤣 I was so tickled when I saw that. I had a great time doing this video with you ladies 😱
I love Canterbury n green acres, all three of my faves!
The last project with the galvanized bucket is beautiful! My favorite. 😍

yes, he will have to find something else to take fishing. lol, at least till after Christmas
I will definitely be looking for a wooden paper towel holder to add a hook to. Great ideas! Love the embroidery hoop. Would be cute in a little girl’s room with their initial.
I loved the Joy sign you made with the embroidery hoop.
Thank you 😊
Those last 2 projects were my favorite! 😍

All of your decor you made is so cute but I think if I had to pick one I think it would be the sled!
