Have you ever wondered what billionaires do on the weekends? Well most take their private helicopters out to the Hamptons on Long Island, New York. We thought it would be cool to pretend to be a billionaire for a day and do a little house shopping. So today guys I’m going to show you the top 5 most expensive homes for sale in the Hamptons!
Coming in at number 5 we have 63 Duck Pond Lane, in Southampton. With a staggering purchase price of $35 million dollars this 9 bedroom and 12 bathroom mansion that offers 16,032 square feet of living space could be all yours. This beautiful estate sits on 2 acres of land just minutes away from the beach. Yes you heard that right, $35 million dollars doesn’t buy you beachfront property in the Hamptons which is mind blowing. Easily my favorite part about the backyard besides the full size home tennis court is the sunken fire pit. Just gives off an amazing vibe and would be the perfect gathering space for late nights with friends and family. Overall the only thing I wish about this home is if it could offer direct beach access from the steps of the back porch. But nonetheless this is an absolutely stunning home!
Coming in at number 4 we have 9 Olde Town lane, in Southampton. For a cool $39.5 million dollars this 8 bedroom and 16 bathroom mansion that offers 15,500 square feet of living space can be all yours. This massive mansion is set on just shy of 4 acres of land literally in the backyard of home number 5. Just minutes away from the beach this home offers a massive manicured lot that is exactly what I picture when I think of a Hamptons mansion. At the end of the day this home is stunning but a large portion of that staggering purchase price is tied up in the land this home sits on. But regardless if I had millions to spare this is definitely a home I’d love to add to my portfolio.
Coming in at number 3 we have 15 West End Rd, in East Hampton. For a cool $48 million dollars this 12 bedroom and 8 bathroom beachfront estate that offers a 5,000 square foot main house with a 1,500 square foot cottage can be all yours. The home is plopped on a little over 2 acres of beachfront land with 165 feet of direct ocean access. Built in 1928 this estate doesn’t offer the luxury you’d expect from that staggering purchase price but you have to remember that the most valuable thing in the Hamptons is the land in which the homes rest on. There isn’t really much to the property other than the direct beach front access that really lures me in. But hey I don’t have that kind of cash to spare so luckily it’s not a decision I will have to make. My question is would you buy this place for $48 million dollars?
Moving on to number 2 we have 346 Meadow Lane, in Southampton. This 7 bedroom and 6 bathroom beach front home offers 5,346 square feet of living space and can be yours for $52.5 million dollars. That breaks down to roughly $9,820 per square foot which is absolutely insane. But what that staggering purchase price does get you is 3 acres of lush property directly on the ocean in the highly sought after billionaires lane. You will be brushing shoulders with the wealthiest individuals in the country as you take your dog for a walk.I think easily my favorite part about this home is the quintessential ocean front backyard that I picture when I think of a Hamptons beachfront mansion. The stunning pool with perfectly manicured lawns and the rolling dunes that lead to the crashing waves of the Atlantic, just absolutely picture perfect. But it still begs the question, would you spend north of $50 million dollars on this stunning property?
Last, but certainly not least, coming in at number 1 we have 201 lily pond lane, in east Hampton. The $69 million dollar estate offers 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms with over 400 feet of direct beach front access on a 2.7 acre lot of land. This sprawling estate just screams Hamptons to me. The very modest architecture and a perfectly manicured lot of land with the white sandy beaches is just about everything I could ever want in a private Hamptons getaway. This Spanish colonial estate was built in 1925 and was renovated to the home you see today in 1994. What I love about this home in particular is there is plenty of open grass in the front of the home that would be the perfect place for my private home golf course. I hate to say but if I had to choose any of the horns I’ve shown to you today this would be my choice by a landslide. But that begs the question, which home would you choose?
I would love to hear what your favorite Hamptons mansion is by leaving it down in the comments sections down below. As well if you were a billionaire with money to spend would you even live in the Hamptons?

I don't get it....there are currently several homes in the Hamptons on the market for 100-175 million, yet they didn't make this "most expensive" list.

A lot of those super expensive mansions aren't publicly listed or they aren't physically in any of the "Hampton" towns.

Just left the area, summertime was spent there every year of my life. Unfortunately it has become basically a zoo and circus at the same time.

Although the houses are nice and so is the land. I would not take my money and live in a place like NY. They have had the worst people in politics come from NY
