Do District Attorneys across the nation actually behave like “they” are above the law or overview as they perform their duties? Has DA Willis said that basically she was “elected” and thus it is no concern of anyone on how she does her job and how she spends taxpayer money?

Is chairman Pitts the same man I saw setting behind Merchant, when she testified before this hearing, and if so who was the woman and man setting beside him? It seems that there's a long history of no accountability concerning budgets for county offices. Therefore no one certain person is to blame past or present. Which means changes need to be made if felt necessary going forward at the end of this hearing.
By that the County lawyer just said, the County Commissioners approved Willis hiring Wade and they had no trouble abou his pay scale. So they yave also broken the laws by condoning Wade's payroll.
