- Stopped by my dads today to go over some highlights from World War II. The amount that he covered is really just a small percentage as there's so much more to see and learn about. I was in Colorado recently and did the tour of Dragonman's museum, really fantastic. Well worth a visit.

Waiting on a background check back in 04 he gave me and my buddy a quick tour because we were just back from Iraq. He has a ton of amazing stuff, I’m sure even better now.
I could spend an hour at that 10th mountain section. I was in the 10th mountain in the early 2000's. I am fascinated with the history of that unit. I love how excited Dragonman is to show his collection. I hope to see it in person some day.
I visited your dad and his collection this past 4th of July weekend. It was one of the best experiences my friends and I ever had! We will be back next season!

This is incredible! I need to visit! I wish my father was still alive to see this. He was a Forward Observer in WWII, 66th Artillery (Black Panther Division), and passed away in 2020. The stories he told me...

My dad served in WWII, I retired from the military after 26 years (USMC, USAF, USCG and USN….retired CDR, flew A-6E Intruders), and my wife served 12 years, USN. Next time I visit CO, I will stop in. We moved from Falcon, CO to NC, 1 1/2 years ago. I am originally from Levittown, NY. I love your collections and Dragon motorcycle. God bless you.
Spectacular collection. Most museums have about 10 items in their WW2 exhibit. The often looked-over small items such as the mine detonators, morphine, and radio gear are the icing on the cake. WW2 is my favorite military history subject -- I could spend days in that museum and hope to get there someday when it's not closed for the season!

This is fantastic! Beyond belief! My dad was an Omaha Beach survivor and a career soldier. I too was a career soldier and once when I was stationed in Heidelberg my dad was visiting and I took him to a similar museum of WWII in Sinsheim Germany. Your museum is 10 times better and your collection is really breathtaking! Thank you for sharing this life's effort.

What I love most about Dragonman is that he really is that full of life and excitement, what you see online is how is in real life. I took his tour earlier this year and loved every min of it. So nice, so friendly and extremally knowledgeable. Also I had no clue that Dragonman is your dad! That is so cool!

Ava its cool to see someone in our generation nerd out into WW2 history. When I was living in Missoula, MT as a Wildland firefighter I took an extra day of travel from a fire in Colorado to visit your dad's museum and firearm shop. That was many years ago... Now I'm living near Woody Creek, Colorado and I cant wait to ride my motorcycle to tour dads museum late April when it opens and maybe get a new BoomBoom stick from his shop 🤤💯. Being his Daughter, do you ever give tours of his museum? I'm always keeping my eyes peeled on his website incase he ever has an auction lol. Super Kool. I'd love to play Army and Camp out in this area of your Museum.
I absolutely have to see this. It’s definitely on my bucket list, 33yo male from CT, absolute WWII fanatic. The reason the old M-1940 Dog Tags were notched was actually due to the type of machine that made them, the notch simply held the tag in the correct spot. Thats an old myth about placing the notch in between the teeth of fallen GIs and then kicking the jaw shut to keep the tag in place. You gotta remember, these men were brothers, they lived, ate, slept, fought, bled and died together. The trauma they went through was unimaginable. Jamming a Dog Tag into your buddy’s teeth and kicking it shut would have really been disrespectful and unnecessary. Fallen soldiers were treated with the utmost respect and care possible. Just one of the many myths of WWII like the infamous M1 “ping” alerting the enemy of empty rifles. But anyways, thank you to you and your Dad for honoring these great men, the best generation to ever live. Hope so visit someday.
WW1, WW2, The Holocaust, and The Cold War are all subjects that i've always had extreme interest in since I was a child. Like DragonMan I didn't earn a degree in history to obtain this knowledge as it was all learned through books and documentaries. Although, his knowledge is a like an encyclopedia compared to mine, it's nice to learn more about the details and day to day ins and outs, especially when it comes to WW2. If you have a chance to befriend a WW2 Vet and they are open to talking about some of their own personal experiences with you, then that's a huge blessing and we all should cherish our Veterans.
