Shout out to all of the kids who were neglected in their childhood that take refuge in aggressive music with consistency like this masterpiece. This kind of anthem triggers all of the parts of our brain we associate with a loud and aggy household whilst trying to sleep without reminding us of the violence directly, thus it's therapeutic and soothing.

Drums here are insanely detailed & yet the fills are improvised. He plays so fast because even though the other musicians are in 4/8 the Drummer is playing in 4/16 - which means he plays double the amount of values as the Guitars. The Portamento on the bass guitar as it slides up is a nice touch, as well as the other guitars Juxtaposed Pan.

Can was an avant-garde band founded in Cologne in 1968 that could not be assigned to any particular musical style and refused to be called a rock band. They moved between free jazz and avant-garde jazz, funk and innovative krautrock and psychedelic rock elements and also experimented with electronic music.
