This guy is the best!!! I was having trouble with the belt moving. I tried everything and was about to take it back when I saw his video. I went through every video on TH-cam and his is the very best!!! Thankyou sir! You know your stuff!!
I got one a couple of weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. The two reasons I got it were Wen have had good reviews and seem to make quality budget conscious products, and because other sanders were amazingly similar in appearance with a higher cost. I also got the Wen 9 inch bandsaw at the same time and I love it.
I bought the Bauer 4 x 36 at Harbor Freight on sale a couple weeks ago $119 I've used it several times and I don't have any problems with it. Absolutely Wen makes some good tools, I have several of their products
I was goin to get the bauer but the wen from walmart online is a better buy with 20 bucks less and belt runs at 1900 vs 1800 for the bauer they both have decent reviews.
I got the Skil one a few months back because it happened to be on sale. Haven't gotten it out of the box just yet. Do you think a sander like this has any use in finish sanding or is it really just for shaping?
Belts are available in higher grits ie 600 Smaller parts can definitely be finish sanded but ultimately the desired outcome will determine if this can deliver what your trying to achieve 😎✌️
$100 is a good price for that Sander. They have a good Oscillating Sander too! WEN Makes great products for the price point. My Dust Collector is a Tank.
Nice Joe 👍 I got the same one about a month ago but hope to get it unboxed this week. Was wondering if you've had a chance to try the dust collection on it yet?

Yea I agree it’s a good tool and anything $100 on down is a good snag price
@@WedoweeHandyman your telling me. To get good versatile sanders is a key for any shop.

I have not. It was a prime day buy and I received it yesterday I need to pick up some 2.5-4” adapters
@@WedoweeHandyman Same here on the adaptors. Mounting mine on a rolling flip top cart with a spindle sander to have a dedicated sanding station 👍
That would be a nice addition in my shop as well. Maybe someday I’ll get around to it
