You have one of the coolest channels in TH-cam. Great projects and great filming. No problem when we need to wait for content. Just do it on your own pace.
Eh. Ok. What you want. I Watch a lot of channels. But it is still just my opinion.
Spot on comment! 🙂
@@PimBuskerSpecify what universe you’re talking about, since there might be alternative realities where this channel sucks.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I love your content. Can't click on it fast enough
Spot on
I felt that second washer moment deep in my soul...
after the first washer ripped my guts out
we have all been there sadly
Having Lupus myself, I understand how significant stress plays on mental and physical problems in one's body. I do love watching your videos but completely understand if they become too much. Your health should always come first and foremost in everything you do.
You are an amazing artist. I'm glad to watch any of your videos and learn so much. Thank you.
If you have lupus, stay away from florescent lighting..
@garyjones2582 I wear specialized clothing that protects most of my skin and have to wear flopy hats outside during the summer. I learned the hard way early in my diagnosis. I wasn't aware of florescent lighting, though thank you. I no longer work and only have soft white bulbs in my home.
I said « washer » out loud. Thank you so much for this wonderful series. It is awesome to see it take shape. Take care of yourself, the slow pace and slow updates are perfectly fine 😉.
Ditto.
I suspected he did it in purpose for he doesn't mind inserting humour in his videos.... ;D
Thank you. Please don’t give up on TH-cam. You are part of my mental therapy.
Having no annoying background music - priceless.
that place you're living has a really lovely landscape
Watching this makes me think of the teams of draft horses that have pulled wagons like this for hundreds of years. I can’t wait to see this completed. You are doing amazing
Living in the US, I enjoy your videos. Seeing a part of the world I may never visit is so enjoyable. I agree with others. Post at your pace. I look forward to each one and am cheering you from across the pond.
You have compiled an amazing video portfolio of woodworking skills. Especially noteworthy are your staircase and now your carriage work. I know of few talented master carpenters who could lay claim to such skills and yet you have documented them. Congrats - you are on your way to adding wainwright to your resume. Let me amend my comment: I know of no master carpenters, at any age let alone your youth, who can provide such visual proof of their talents and problem solving skills. Quite commendable and all done with probity and humility.
Don’t stress Carl! You’re a talented guy, I always enjoyed your content and the way you deliver it. I have watched for a long time and will always be here to watch whatever you produce. Keep up the good work. 👍👍👍👍
Got my jacket. Great fabric and the collar is a nice touch. And this one the pockets don't fill with sawdust while chainsawing like my French one does. I expect that was a purposeful design feature. Nice!
Thanks for all the time and effort that you spend to show us your wonderful work. 🙂
That's extremely kind John thank you 😊
Letting you know how very enjoyable it is watching your precision wood work. Be encouraged!
Hi Carl I have been a follower since your first videos. I moved to the Charente and am loving the French way of life. Well maybe not the "Never returning emails and not turning up bits" But the people are friendly and I am getting used to the pace. I thoroughly enjoy your 'No nonsense" style and great projects. Keep up the great work.
Great to see it actually rolling. You are taking caravanning to a whole new level!
Another crappy day made great thanks to a Carl Rogers video. Awesome work as usual 👌🏻. Thanks for making my day!
I'm so happy you got the help you needed. 2024 will be much better for you. I'm always amazed at your skills and what you can do. I don't have gifts like those, so I have to hire out when I need projects done. Your channel is incredible and watching you create is very inspiring. Keep up the good work!
Great to see you able and back to work. Watch out for your joints, not just the wood joints. I love the little "captions" of your thoughts.
Hey Carl, you keep doing you! We’re just along for the ride. Love your channel and the attention to detail you bring to all of your projects!
Nice to see you back, Carl.😁
This project is testament to your ability to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles.
Don't worry about forgetting to Oh bollocks, put the washers on, not once but twice. I've done that many times over the years.
My use of the expression "bollocks" and "F a duck" with an occasional "F a duck sideways" thrown in for good measure, was as often as i snapped a blade, made an error, or hit my thumb!
I've watched every video you uploaded, and as interesting as this project is, it would be nice to see some more barn or house restoration work.
Better still, as the rolling chassis looks so good towed behind your Land Rover, why not travel Britain and Europe in your Shepherds hut, restoring old buildings or Shepherd huts with your father in toe. He could take care of all the equipment. What a great idea that is.😉🏴⚒️🇬🇧🇺🇦🇮🇱
I don’t know whether there are any other dad’s watching these videos, but I worry about Carl when he’s walking across those beams, in loco parentis.😅
Nice video.
The chassis looks great.
Well, everyone works differently and has different ideas.
But I would drill a hole in the wheels and the turntable, screw in the thread and screw in a grease nipple. That would be gentler on the material.
Have a nice rest of the week
I was very happy to see this chassis finally come together. I love this series!
Finally after all these months I understand what you've been building 😂 great job 👍
From the start of this build, I had about a dozen theories of what you were building. A wagon wasn't one of them, and my mind is blown now that I see it. Excellent craftsmanship as always!
21:04 Accessing the Rover storage area from an awkward position to get more interesting shots. Yeah, we see and we appreciate!
Quality over Quantity 👍 Not only ok, but preferred.
Love the camera shot at 25:38. Taking in that view would be good therapy for anyone. You are making good progress. Be safe always. 👍👍👍
Love the jacket, good materials and nice colour!
Carl you do realise this structure will still be functioning in two thousand years time
It’s brilliant 🤩 👍👍
Mother bought a gypsy pony. When the pony put her shoulder into the collar, knowing how heavy the load would be. She bolted, because the trap my mother had her hooked to was so light!
It's the 'oh bollocks, the washer' that makes it so real. Nothing like thinking about the 25 30 things in order you need to do then making the same mistake twice. But with all the planning the more likely you are to identify it well before it's a problem. Good work
Lovely to watch your progress. Thank you so much.
I have had those 2nd washer moments more than I care to admit. Nicely done young man appreciate your time in videoing and editing the assembly, enjoyed watching.
How grateful I am for you sharing! I watch your videos because I find them authentic and real. Now I will appriciate even more. And I can only hope you see what value you bring to us! Thanks a lot!!!
Your calm voice and great content are the best therapies - well done mate
Great to see this progress Carl! Your films always seem to come out just when I 9selfishly) need them. I appreciate the style and content of each episode. And I look forward to following your continued progress on the hut, the house, the Land Rover or whatever it is you choose to produce. Great stuff!
Hi Carl. Great work as usual. You might be interested in ‘Red Path Rambler’ building his Aussie wagon. Cheers mate. 👍🏻🙏🦘
There’s nothing that says it quite like the word ‘bollocks’. Great work Carl. Enjoying seeing it coming together. Thank you
It's coming along nicely! Hope 24 is going to be better for you!
Excellent! Congratulations. Don't forget to brace the frame diagonally before proceeding with the upgrade
I con just see myself having my morning coffee, and enjoying that view.
A beautiful build so far! Simple and elegant. Your hut promises to be magnificent, especially when you're the builder. Sending best wishes for your physical and mental health becoming managable. The shots of your surroundings have such heart in them. Loved the shot catching your doggo's zoomies! Take good care.
Carl, your health and family are the most important, I've seen all of your video's and your skills are amazing. My father was a carpenter too, so I know how hard you have to work to build something beautiful. You're an magician with wood. Your video's inspire me and I always look forwards to see your next video. 👍
Back to some serious craftsmanship.
Great headway with the Shepherd's Hut project, Carl.
So sorry about your health, both physically (AS) and mentally. Thank you for the videos. I love watching you work. We're behind you.
Absolutely amazing, as always! Bravo! 👏
I love watching you work. TFS
Thanks for your videos. Love the craftsmanship.
Always a very pleasant video to watch ... All the very best of British matey and long may you continue your journey with a smile and forward thinking.
beautiful work. beautiful sunsets too.
Incredible landscape at 25:40. Love your Land-rover, just so classic.
SO HAPPY to see you again Carl!!!
A huge job well done!
Congratulations!
Carl, one must take care of ones self first and foremost. Thank you for being transparent with we, your fans and supporters. Sending you my best wishes as you continue your project. You are one amazing young man. Quick question, what is the final gross vehicle weight you anticipate this wagon will come in at? Love from Arizona, USA
This was a wash...er. It looks good so far. Might consider just placing a camper shell on it an getting on with this project without hefting more heavy oak around, you know. They have wiring and everything. Could even use oak plywood to make it match (and its way lighter than oak beams!). Whatever comes next I expect you'll make it look wonderful.
Comme à chaque fois un régale pour les yeux. Merci du partage.
Carl, the first big step is done and it looks great! When you started to pull out the trailer I thought: oh oh, dear Carl, please don’t do that! Luckily you stopped and got some help next day. I wish you a nice evening now and I will see how you are going on. Please take care of yourself in all aspects and I hope you are in a good mood 😘👍🌞🍀💪 Greetings from Germany, Maik
Awesome video, exciting to watch, thanks!
This is the only channel where check all the time for the next instalment. Always great content Carl. Keep well old chap.😁👍
Congratulations!! What a superb chassis!

Excellent work, as always - it’s lucky you’re not shy of a massive challenge. Thank you for sharing. Be well and stay safe.
Top skills Carl. That hut is going to be a work of art. 👍💪
it looks wonderful and strong. I can't wait to see what's next. Thanks Carl.
You made my day! Marvellous video, as always. Happy New Year!
Another wonderful and inspiring video. Your channel was one of the first I watched and it gave me the impetus and confidence to start my own. Whatever you decide to do in the future thank you so much for what you have already given. 🙂

This is looking really good.
Nice, 18:33: the inner beams are also just less supported by the ground, as they kinda float on the axel
Thanks Carl
Thank you, Better Health! It seems like a lot of us could use some therapy these days.
