Very nice, precise playing, particularly the banjoist...spot on!
Thank you! They always impress me with their spot onness!
What I really love is these are all the sounds of an orchestra/combo that 78 rpm tech just couldn't pick up, or so closely replicate.
You are so right! It's a revelation of sound to hear a modern recording of this vintage music. Glad you appreciate it. But of course you would!
Still loving it, Halloween, 2020 .....A Speakeasy Spook Party!! :D
Thanks Wayne. Keep the rhythm in your soul! And a melody in your heart!
Grey Gull Studio orchestra and Irving Kaufman did the best version of this number. A destroyer!
This looks like the most fun since Knock Three Times and Say Joe Sent me!! Looks like the Foxes are Trotting, as well as the Cats!!
It was indeed! We didn't know just how much fun
Not bad at all! A nice update on the 1930 Gennett rendition by Cliff Perrine's band, "q.v." (as Brian Rust would've said) on TH-cam.
Thank you Dan!

Great stuff. Check out Andy Cohen's version on youtube as well. A solo performance that really get's the spirit of the thing.
Yikes! That's something!
