they didn't include Genesis in the title because it was an unreleased song at the time

This is where she teased Genesis and we knew that song was going to be fire.
She sings escapism so differently every time ,that's why you thought you have never heard song ddd

As everyone has mentioned already Genesis didn't even have a name at that point. I saw an interview with her that mentioned that in total it took 7 years for her to write it.

Lol, I love your rants about the GRAMMY's... I think she's gonna carry a bunch of them home soon anyway... She's a force of nature you can't ignore, just today I learned that she will be opening for Taylor Swift at Wembley stadium - I'm not into Taylor, but that is MASSIVE... and some days ago the official channel of The Recording Academy / GRAMMY's brought a feature on Raye, her talking about the importance of her diary / notebook (analog) in the creative process...
Some more notes on your reaction(s): dude, I really like them, you're an attentive unbiased listener, but not fake or artificially hyped, and "du sprichst, wie dir der Schnabel gewachsen ist" (sorry, I have no idea how this German saying would translate into English...)
Some details to help clear some confusion: This medley was performed by Raye several weeks before the official release or even the announcement of a release of Genesis and the song title was not known to the public yet, that's why some folks in the comments refer to it as "let there be light", and why it's not in the title, kind of a sneak preview back then...
You haven't seen her play an instrument? What about the piano in the beginning? You had reacted to the fully produced studio version of Ice Cream Man, this was just her and her piano... for more of that watch her cover of "Feeling Good" for "Like A Version", just Raye and her piano, just gorgeous! Actually she doesn't need more than that to be great, but she loves musical complexity and different sounds like brass and orchestra / big band, choir / harmony singing and all that good stuff way too much to do without it... I don't know that other artist you mentioned (when reading the comments, about who deserves a Grammy...), but I agree with you that RAYE's musicality is rooted more deeply.. I can say that with some confidence without even knowing the other artst, because I have listened to A LOT of music from many different genres over the decades, and I can assure you you will hardly find anyone with such a musical vision and creativity, being able to overlook, shape and control every step of the process, from writing, composing, arranging, producing to performing and leading her awesome band, and she has all of these abilities paired with a great voice, technical finesse and a very enchanting personality... full package, I'd say, like there are very few around...
To wrap this up: her musicality and sensibility lead to her never performing a song the same way twice, so it's no wonder you almost didn't recognize Escapism... on the next live show she might perform a rock version, or turn it into a bossa nova... so the songs never get boring to me "Mary Jane" in Brazil sounds completely different than the same song in Japan (recently she performed at Japan's biggest outdoor event "Fuji Rock", awesome full hour set, I was lucky to watch it before it was taken down from YT due to copyright... some songs sounded completely different than I knew them, but they were awesome!)
I'm looking forward to your next reaction to her! Peace and love from BavaRAYEa!
And btw. and as you mentioned her as well: Amy Winehouse channel released a recording of her doing "Back To Black" (Live at Other Voices, 2006) just 12 hrs ago, and it is totally breathtaking, you might want to do a reaction to that one... Amy is unmatched, but dead, sadly enough, that's why I appreciate RAYE being alive all the more...
