i've only read a short story of sherlock holmes and also the first handful of chapters of Hound of the Baskervilles, which is a terrible story by the way. But i have a friend who obsesses over Sherlock Holmes enough that i've got the vibe of things. Apparently, Sherlock Holmes has asexual vibes in addition to the homoeroticism. Watson is married, but he and Sherlock are very much homoerotic.
