Materials needed for this project:
- 2-3 socks
- Corrugated cardboard sheet (a bit bigger than your hand)
- Cardboard tube
- 2 plastic spoons
- Colored paper (or white paper and a marker to color it in)
- Yarn
- Shoelace
- Cereal box cardboard
- Disposable chopsticks
Tools:
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pen
- Permanent marker

Thanks this has really helped me for a school art project where we have to hand in a puppet and at a later stage to perform with them, I was looking for something out of the box to get some extra points
I wish you'd gone a bit more into detail on how you made the mouse puppet. That looks fun, but just hearing "a different angle" didn't help me very much.

My 5 year old is taking a thin sock and pretending she is a ventriloquist... she looks so cute while doing that. I want to surprise her with one of these sock puppets and later make another one with her!!! From the bottom of my heart... thank you!!! How are you able to cut these plastic spoons? Mine keep breaking.
Ya so sorry to hear that. Some other viewers have had the same issue. I think there must be different types of plastic used in plastic spoons, and some are more brittle than others.
If you can't find any other brands of plastic spoons, my only advice would be to go very slowly with the cutting and only cut off a little bit at a time until you reach the shape you want. For the eyes, start by just cutting away the very outer edges first and then progressively cut away more and more until you are happy with the eye shape.
