I was in the Marines 81-85. I served as a 1371 Combat Engineer. I received a license for the MC4000 in early 1982 and drove the heck out of this LOUD Detroit powered all terrain forklift. Loved it when we would deploy and I'd check one out of the pool to move our gear around. It was pretty fast too..
