The ball actually appears to be in on the Higgins kick. The reason it looks out, is because we are looking at the gap between the ball and boundary a couple metres in front of him. To judge if it is out, pause the video on the point where the ball is the furthest over the line, then rule a line downwards in front of his feet.
great game and well done Saints... 6:00 even when played at 0.25x speed the ball is so close to over but cant be sure so it's in... of the 2 umps close by, the one who could've judged it had their back turned and the other was around the line a bit so poor angle... goal of the year? sorry but no. i hope the season has better yet to come... but still a great effort and look forward to more from Higgins this year.
