Sounds like you ordered the perfect set up. Not too much but not too little; definitely the “Goldilocks” Bronco. Although, $50k may put a dent in your helicopter budget lol 🚁💰
Love your family video! We are looking at the Outer Banks, 4 door in white. Not sure about the Sasquatch add on, but definitely upgrading to Lux package and keyless entry. We will do a hard-top (live in Ohio), just not sure on which one. A lot of questions, but still think it will be a huge success and a lot of fun. Keep up the great work!
You guys are adorable. My wife and I are roughly the same age and we just moved from Vancouver to a small town outside of Calgary, Alberta. I think you’ve inspired us to begin exploring off-roading as a couple. Love the channel - I... no, we, watch each episode now:)
I also just placed a factory order. With Jeep, for a PHEV Sahara. Out here in the Mid-Atlantic, I got 5% off invoice pricing before taxes and processing. Bronco looks like fun. For those of us non-car journalists, there just isn’t any available to test drive to compare it with equivalent Jeeps.
Appreciate hearing the thought process and how it was so practical-driven for your everyday and anticipated needs vs just a fan-boy type “get it maxed!” package. Refreshing to see a professional vehicle journalist & enthusiast give a real-world look at things, taking the ever important real-person budget constraints in mind. 👍🏻
Thanks Micah & Evie! Love that you both work to communicate about likes, dislikes, desires versus needs. My wife and I are the same as we are underway looking for something to replace our 2011 Jeep Patriot (my daily driver). Our other vehicle is a 2016 CRV which is my wife's daily driver. We both feel we should be comfortable with what we are spending as well as comfortable in driving each other's choices so that should something happen to one driver or vehicle we aren't in a pinch. We also have three kids to consider having in the vehicles we choose. Thanks so much for sharing. We both love that you & Evie have been doing this all together and sharing your decision and the process with us. Cheers!
Congrats on the car! Bronco looks amazing. I also loved how you were being honest about the price and your budget. A LOT of youtubers pretend like everyone can afford pricy cars like it’s no big deal.
It's nice to see another family that buys something and sticks with it for a long time. The last vehicle we purchased was my 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport, and I'm still driving it every day - and we've been married since 1986.
The Sq Pkg just pushed your delivered Bronce to the summer of 2022. The Sq pkg is delayed. Im surprised the dealer didnt tell you this. 2 Doors are also delayed somewhat, due to expected demand.
Love that y’all are getting the keypad my grandmas 92 town car has it and she loved using it.. it was cool you would enter the number sequence and it unlocked just the driver door if you did an additional number it would unlock all four doors and if you wanted the trunk open it also had one additional number to the sequence.. can’t wait to see y’all show us the bronco!!
We just ordered the Big Bend too! We got the Area 51 color with the MIC hard top. We didn't do the sasquatch package just simply because of the cost and we won't be doing that much off-roading. We did the heavy duty front bumper, the tube step rails, tow package, and the mid package also. We plan to get a soft top later on but living in Michigan, we need the hard top for the winter. The dealership told us about 8 to 10 months out for delivery, but that is to be expected which is fine, cause our current lease will be up right around the time it's expected to be delivered. Win win. Congrats also on yours. Sounds like your put yours together well.
Back in July I pre-ordered a big bend , but after researching all of the options decided on outer banks with V6 10 speed automatic luxury package leather interior iconic silver, very excited as you are! Ordered it at the dealership back on January 19 and was confirmed by Ford right away. I’ve never been excited about a new vehicle before but I am pumped up about this one ! I know you guys will have lots of fun with yours!!
You guys are so humble. I know this is a big purchase but when you got youtubers who get such expensive cars its heartening to see yall be so responsible. I guess your career gets the need for crazier cars out of the way. As a guy who only had no passengers n luxury cars now starting a family im having such a hard time pairing down especially needing a big SUV for 3 dogs n trying for a kid. Ive convinced myself i need an X5 for comfort and personnel but im wondering if someone else would make me as happy
Enjoy your vehicle!! Appreciate your transparency and honesty! 😀 It's nice to see people who genuinely happy about a mutual purchase! Can't wait to see the Bronco journey!
I ordered mine a badlands with 2.3L 7speed, 33" tires, mid package and towing group. I think you did fine actually. Congratulations. I go t the same color as you two did as well.
Great news on the soft top. We purchased a 2020 Mustang Convertible last year and I was worry it was going to be loud inside with the top up...but it turns out the car has noise cancelation built in and it's makes such a difference.
We have ordered the Big Bend with the Sasquatch package. Ours is the 2 door. We the 2.7 liter V6. We hope we like it. It’s hard to know until we test drive it. We are excited to see it!
Sounds like you used good rationale. I originally ordered a 2dr Black Diamond with 2.7 engine and mid pkg. After waiting over a year, I have changed my order to a 4 Dr and 2.3 engine on the advice of my sales mgr. Enjoying your videos, keep them coming.
The one problem with ordering the Soft Top before the Mic Top is that there will be no internal vehicle wiring or tubing for the rear wiper or defroster, if you don't include the hard top with the dealer order. So I changed my Outer Banks order to the MIC Top. Also, several types of soft tops will be available next year for purchase from the dealer, one as thicker version than the current OEM 2021 choice (Dec, 2020 Bronco Nation interview with Bronco Brand Manager)
I used the keypad entry on my most recent Ford ALL the time. Being able to lock everything INCLUDING your keys and phone in the car is an incredibly nice option to have. Interestingly I built a 2 door Bronco with almost your exact configuration (Big Bend, Cactus Grey...) sans the automatic but ended up buying a new Mitsubishi Outlander GT a couple months ago instead (I just couldn’t hold out any longer). Hopefully Ford keeps the manual option around for a while (I’m probably going to hang onto the Mitsu for at least 2 years). I went to order a new Fusion with a stick in late 2014 and was told Ford just dropped it. Ended up getting a Honda Accord EX instead.
Yay!!! Ordered same trim and color with the mid package as well!! 😎🤗 love the retro look which has been influenced by my dad’s cars growing up. Just awesome!!!
Great video guys. Very helpful for me who is looking into buying a bronco. First time watching you guys and it was awesome. I also really enjoyed seeing your guys thriving relationship
Great color choice! I think this will provide lots of great content for your channel, as a lot of people are excited about both the Bronco and Bronco Sport, so being able to show what it's like to live with it whether you're driving around town, offloading or camping will be really interesting to see. Also, I appreciate you taking us along all steps in the process--it is really fun. I think it is the perfect vehicle at the perfect time, and if this allows you to get by with just one vehicle, then it makes it a lot easier to pay $46K for it. Way to go, I think it will be fantastic, and I am already looking forward to the next video as you get farther along the process.
I've enjoyed your exploration of Evie's options. Ford manuals seem hold value pretty well though. I took a 5,000 hit after having my Focus ST for 4yrs. With that said I was so completely over driving a manual in muddy mountains and city traffic. You made the right choice.
I think it is great that you guys moved to the mountains! I hope to one day move ourselves out of suburbia when my wife and I get closer to retirement. Can't wait for the Bronco either!
Going through this process myself. Torn on the roof. I also want to get a white roof aftermarket, but sure. I’m hearing if you go soft-top it won’t the connection for rear wiper blade or the windshield wiper solution. We don’t want to add that after market, but not a fan of the MIC top.
I'm really interested in the new bronco combinations. I won't be able to buy new so a few years from now it will be cool to have an alternative to Jeeps and Toyotas.
You are a stud, always great content! My wife and I got married at 20 in 2000, you were young pups too, I like the commit once for a lifetime! I'm a car nut and watch many channels, one thing I never see is a night shot - how do the dash lights look, headlights, and taillights at night. Would be sweet if you incorporate in future videos. Also, looking forward to your Bronco journey, sweet choice!
After the past year I love that you made a decision that is based on looking ahead to what you can and will be doing in the future. Cars used to be just about commuting and running errands for me. Now, my next vehicle decision will also put more weight on doing other things
It's a fine balance when purchasing a vehicle - you want to get a good deal and pay as little as possible for what you need/want but on the other hand, If you want to buy a vehicle and keep it for a long time, I think it's perfectly justified to get it exactly the way you want it, even if you have to spend more than what you want. At the end, it's really about the value you get for what you're spending along with the comfort, performance, and features that you value as a family. So don't worry about whether this or that could have been different. Just enjoy it and have fun. That's what it's really about.
I know a lot of people say they'd never get a car without heated seats, but I've never had that luxury. That said, I bought a 2019 base model Santa Fe which was the only year all the driving assistance tech came standard on the cheapest version and I would _never_ buy another car without adaptive cruise control or active lane keeping. It's honestly so night and day in how much easier it makes driving that I'm almost dangerous the few times since that I've driven a car without them
It's surprisingly affordable, the higher trims are unnecessary since you have all the 4x4 stuff already. Sway bar would be important too. But I don't know what package that's even on. Your mpg's will be interesting to see, since you normally drive more efficient things every day!

This sounds like a great spec. I used to have a Wrangler Unlimited with a manual. I had the softtop only and it was fine. I didn't want the hardtop because I knew I couldn't take it off myself and then you have to have a place to store it. Plus I wanted to be able to take the top down spontaneously. It never leaked and it wasn't bad on the interstate either. I love a manual car but after a while the manual in the Jeep became annoying. If I ever get another Jeep or Bronco I'd get an automatic.
I’m looking forward to seeing it. The changes I’d make are, a different color either red or blue. Definitely a hardtop and no to the Sasquatch pkg. Darrell has earned the right to stay hidden.
Awesome choice! I expect it will not sell for less than MSRP for at least a year or even more much like Raptor. On another note.......Would you be kind enough to give your opinion in order of preference since i believe you have driven all of the following. 2022 Acura MDX, 2021 Ford Explorer ST, 2021 Kia Telluride, 2021 Ford Expediton, and 2021 Chevy Tahoe.......Curious what you would pick if you were choosing between them, or at least your top two picks??
So, did we screw up? 😁 How should we have built our Bronco differently?
Very cool and enjoyed listening about your thoughts behind every choice!
Sounds like you ordered the perfect set up. Not too much but not too little; definitely the “Goldilocks” Bronco. Although, $50k may put a dent in your helicopter budget lol 🚁💰

I have a feeling that the Sasquatch Package is going to help resale value.
The off road confidence makes a lot of sense, and while more expensive - should be able to do everything and have good crash safety
Excited to see it! So glad you got the keypad
You're not kidding. I miss that from my former Escape.
We’ve got a keypad on our house. Can’t wait to have one on our car too!
We’ve got a keypad on our house. Can’t wait to have one on our car too!
I simply love the fact you guys have been married for 22yrs! That's the real reason why you can afford a new Bronco!
You guys are adorable. My wife and I are roughly the same age and we just moved from Vancouver to a small town outside of Calgary, Alberta. I think you’ve inspired us to begin exploring off-roading as a couple. Love the channel - I... no, we, watch each episode now:)
Nice. Welcome to Alberta!
I'm really happy to see someone say that 45k is A LOT of money for a car... I was starting to think I was crazy
She's a keeper! Happy for you'se.

I like what you picked. If i did similar my wife would always be driving it 😆. I want 2dr standard with Sasquatch pk so have to wait till next year
I still don’t know how to get the silver Big Bend grill. Looks so nice with cactus grey.
It's nice to see another family that buys something and sticks with it for a long time. The last vehicle we purchased was my 2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport, and I'm still driving it every day - and we've been married since 1986.
In it for the long haul! 💪
The Sq Pkg just pushed your delivered Bronce to the summer of 2022. The Sq pkg is delayed. Im surprised the dealer didnt tell you this. 2 Doors are also delayed somewhat, due to expected demand.
Honestly I think the locking diffs make the sasquatch package a must have for off road. It makes such a huge difference.

BB, SAS, Mid, and the 2.3. That's a great setup, the ultimate high value Bronco build.
My co-worker just upgraded from a 2009 Ford Escape to a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend and she freaking loves it.

First time I ever clicked on a video uploaded 38 seconds ago
That AND first comment. 🏆
I ordered mine a badlands with 2.3L 7speed, 33" tires, mid package and towing group. I think you did fine actually. Congratulations. I go t the same color as you two did as well.
Cactus gray!!

Ordered mine last week. Base model, no frills in antimatter blue. As I get the money I’ll build it up myself
Watching with interest. I wish Ford here in Australia would bring the Bronco down under.
Love that you guys picked the Bronco as your next family car! Can't wait to follow this journey- subbed!
congrats on your choice. I have a '68 Bronco. People will stop you and ask you about it all the time. it's fun to own and drive.
Can't wait to see the finished build! Love the rustic look of the wood in your new home!
Good luck. Always exciting to buy a new car!

I’m still surprised Evie wanted the bigger Branco.
Love you guys and your videos. Can’t wait for some Bronco footage.
I"M SO EXCITED FOR EVIE!!!! Great build.
You’ve done your homework! Excited to see it in a future video....
You two are awesome! Always makes me smile to watch a Micah and Evie video :-) Enjoy your new Bronco.
I think it is great that you guys moved to the mountains! I hope to one day move ourselves out of suburbia when my wife and I get closer to retirement. Can't wait for the Bronco either!
Great choice on the Bronco Evie. I am a fan of the original old Bronco's.
I also agree with getting the 2.3T engine. It's gonna be more than enough...
Yessssssss, Cactus Gray! Solid choices, Muzios!
Sasquatch Package required?
Everybody: Yes Please
Well thought out, it meets your needs. Great choice.
Going through this process myself. Torn on the roof. I also want to get a white roof aftermarket, but sure. I’m hearing if you go soft-top it won’t the connection for rear wiper blade or the windshield wiper solution. We don’t want to add that after market, but not a fan of the MIC top.
I understand why, but still wish you got the manual!
2:33 I laughed out loud at Micah "bumping" the Flying Eyes "sign" with his head!
Great choices! Cactus grey is great. Sasquatch is a must. Only meh option is the keypad. Ford's execution on it is underwhelming. Cant wait to see it!
Manual transmissions are pure GOLD
Flatlander! I haven’t heard that term since I was a kid.
We lived in Arrowhead for 5 years before they stopped calling me that. Too funny. 😀😀
I'm really interested in the new bronco combinations. I won't be able to buy new so a few years from now it will be cool to have an alternative to Jeeps and Toyotas.

Good idea with the night shot. I've done that before in my videos for KBB but I'll be sure to get some night footage once our Bronco arrives. Cheers!
I can’t wait for you guys to review it !!!!
Congrats !!!!
Towing and resale value is the reason I would have optioned the 2.7 V6.
Sounds like you had fun making this decision. Hopefully you like it once it arrives.
After the past year I love that you made a decision that is based on looking ahead to what you can and will be doing in the future. Cars used to be just about commuting and running errands for me. Now, my next vehicle decision will also put more weight on doing other things

I’m really excited for you guys!
We ordered a cactus grey bronco, outer banks, black hardtop, 2.7L 4dr 10spd auto with the mid package. We’re really excited 👍🏽👍🏽
Sweet build. You're right to be excited!
@@MicahMuzio thanks, I still have my Bullitt also. Your Bullitt test drive is still my favorite 👍🏽👍🏽
I ordered the Outer Banks. Same color. 2.7, lux package leather seats and other stuff. 4 doors with hard top!
That leather is gonna look awesome.🤘
Super jealous! Congrats! I want to get one for my wifey too, because she was BORN in a Bronco.
That’s exactly how I would have built one for my wife!
Great choice on the Bronco. It’s going to hold it’s value for sure. Happy for you guys Micah. Congrats!
Excite! Congrats!
Congratulations! I hope you guys love it. :) That gray is sharp. Nice choice.
very excited for you guys can't wait too see it..
My wife and I love your channel and these videos have been great! Hope the channel takes off! Also, I wish you would’ve gotten a Suzuki Grand Vitara!
I love this! Your wife is looking for the same things I want in my next car. Fun, can go off road, but still comfortable for a family. I just wished it towed 7000lbs...
Nice! I'm very interested in a Bronco myself and am looking forward to experiencing your coming videos about it.
You guys make the best duo. Love ya reviews
You guys went full on mountain-mobile 4x4! It would've been near the top of my dream car list 20 years ago, but now if I wasn't going too far off the beaten path for that kind of money I'd get an ID4 awd or RAV4 Prime. Should be a fun car though.
I like your pick! Just wish Ford could offer a PHEV or EV version of the Bronco, that'd be the ideal for day-to-day commuting.
Great Pick Guys!!!!
Great series. Fun following this experience
The Bronco is a nice choice, I am not into those kinds of vehicles and even I am thinking about one. Funny thing is I am in Michigan and normally see mules and so on of everything well in advance and that Bronco is one that has eluded me to this day.
LOL at the "file photo" of your daughter. 😂
Hell yeah, Micah! Congrats! Super exciting SUV! 🙌🏽🎉
I am excited for you. I am
Also excited to see a bronco that will be out there that is not fully loaded.
Awesome video Micah!😸
This sounds like a great spec. I used to have a Wrangler Unlimited with a manual. I had the softtop only and it was fine. I didn't want the hardtop because I knew I couldn't take it off myself and then you have to have a place to store it. Plus I wanted to be able to take the top down spontaneously. It never leaked and it wasn't bad on the interstate either. I love a manual car but after a while the manual in the Jeep became annoying. If I ever get another Jeep or Bronco I'd get an automatic.
I'd pretty much get the same thing except I'd get it in the Black Diamond package because I want those marine grade vinyl seats.
Very excited about the Bronco, especially since it's spec'd the way I'd order it.
Bronco looks awesome! You guys rock
Congrats! I ordered a two door Outer Banks with Sasquatch/Lux, first actually new car I've bought! Hope I like it 🤣
Congratulations! Great build. I ordered mine this last week. So excited!
I’m looking forward to seeing it. The changes I’d make are, a different color either red or blue. Definitely a hardtop and no to the Sasquatch pkg. Darrell has earned the right to stay hidden.
Wedding photo 10:14....great
Love the wedding photo ! ❤️🚙😊
That is the exact Bronco I ordered.
Congratulations on the choice! I don't know if the Bronco will ever come to my country (New Zealand) but I love these!
I love you guys. Great choice on the color.
