It's great that you can genuinely feel how much the devs care, as well as the mascots actually being something a child would actively want to come and see. It is delightfully refreshing.

Good, bad AI's are so bad and expected. Twists can still happen to a well written good AI, but evil AI's are way overdone and lazy as fuck in my opinion.
Just because he said rambly won't be evil doesn't mean anything it could change he might be evil in the end, but we never know it's just my theory, though, so don't say anything mean just making a theory
I love how this guy was just being polite to literally everything, even the monsters trying to kill him. Molly literally killed him and he said "you shouldn't do that. That hurts people". I actually don't think there wasn't a single character this guy didn't say hi to, and him telling Rambley that he will come back at the end of Rambley review got a good laugh out of me.
I remembered someone pointed out how Rambley's animation is choppy like something cheap enough that an entertainment establishment would use, and with that we can assume someone had to animate Rambley only for the park's default stuff (scanning faces, information, an extra expression for Lloyd). This was proven further with some of the expressions or animations being repeated (Sad/worried, neutral, happy, disgusted (Lloyd specific)) However on the cutscene where Rambley confesses about the park, it doesn't look like those animation sets would be used anywhere in the establishment, and the frames looks a little smoother. So maybe Rambley somehow managed to animate himself for other things necessary, or I'm insane and need professional help
It seems that whenever he's doing the scripted events that he would normally perform for the park, he has that low frame count "cheap" look, and when he goes out of that programming set he gets a smoother animation. He does this a few times throughout the chapter, and I'm pretty sure the earliest moment is when he comes up with the generator puzzle, since that obviously wasn't a normal occurrence during operational hours
Ramnley being able to animate himself for other circumstances that he wasn't already programmed to deal with is actually a good way of exlaining how he would be partially sentient although being ai.
I think he's sentient AI and the Skunk is gonna turn out to be an AI meant to be a playful antagonist but went full GladOS on him and corrupted the animatronics, as alluded to in the little arcade game
My headcanon is that he quickly promoted the protagonist to staff status so that his (or the door's) programming would let you in. Maybe it's like a thing that if he confidently says you're staff, the non-authorized-persons-exclusion code just plays along with it and lets you in as though you really are staff.

I love how he is calm the whole video and doesnt show any surprised and shocked reactions. but once Mollie gets her head chopped off, he freaks out haha
honestly. it felt like he was the character he was playing as somewhat. the main character is someone who is adventurous and explores. so realistically he's probably seen some stuff. sure the molly chase and stuff could be scary but if you are experienced in stuff you wouldn't be that scared. but yeah seeying a thing head chopped off AND that thing revealing to be very meaty would be 100% scary to anyone
Once you're being chased you already know the outcome once caught, it's not a surprise anymore when they nuzzle your arteries, swallow your head, or vaguely 'bite' you. But Mollie suddenly and violently losing her head is very surprising. You'd expect her to get stuck and retreat or get bonked and knocked out while the player retreats, not the full on guillotine beheading.

The game didn’t have the biggest budget but it’s barely noticeable. They made the most of the budget they had and it shows. There’s so much charm in everything there. (Also Salem the skunk is non-binary with she/they pronouns and I think that’s neat)

Looking at the minigame, i think it correlates to the park. The skunk corrupted Molly, and Ramblys Railroad breaks down when you make it to the skunks area

Pretty sure he isn’t “fighting for control” but instead writhing in pain from the high pitched noise, he looks like the noise hurts his ears (it’s what we do as well when a noise hurts our ears, we cover our ears, he just did it in a more feral animal way before running away)

Indigo park being one of the rare case scenarios for a mascot horror game because in most other cases i wouldn't care for it but dammit rambley is such a cute lil goober i just can't help but love him
Interestingly, in the arcade game, there's a caged Mollie in a secret cave beneath the map, which crashes the arcade game with the same chaotic glitches and sound as defeating its boss fight. Hard to say for sure if it'll be followed by the game's story, but it's possible that the Mollie killed (or I suppose, saved by Rambley's magic wizard powers, in the official music video for the credits song) wasn't the real/only one, or that it's just not as permanent as it certainly appears to be. That, and the Mollie animatronic/statue thing during the little repair section of the train ride seems to talk about Rambley intentionally hurting Lloyd, but there was apparently a developer confirmaiton that he won't be evil, so I dunno where that'll go. Presumably Rambley has direct system access to those statues, so maybe he's just projecting his dislike through it.

You mean the cutscene where he tries to attack us but our watch makes a noise? Pretty sure he isn’t “fighting for control” but instead writhing in pain from the high pitched noise, he looks like the noise hurts his ears (it’s what we do as well when a noise hurts our ears, we cover our ears, he just did it in a more feral animal way before running away)

Interestingly, in the arcade game, there's a caged Mollie in a secret cave beneath the map, which crashes the arcade game with the same chaotic glitches and sound as defeating its boss fight. Hard to say for sure if it'll be followed by the game's story, but it's possible that the Mollie killed (or I suppose, saved by Rambley's magic wizard powers, in the official music video for the credits song) wasn't the real/only one, or that it's just not as permanent as it certainly appears to be. That, and the Mollie animatronic/statue thing during the little repair section of the train ride seems to talk about Rambley intentionally hurting Lloyd, but there was apparently a developer confirmaiton that he won't be evil, so I dunno where that'll go. Presumably Rambley has direct system access to those statues, so maybe he's just projecting his dislike through it.
