I have bought and sold thousands of knives in the last 15 years. Some cost upwards of $600 being customs. If someone asked if I could only have one knife. The 940 platform is it.
If I could afford it, I'd probably have a few different Benchmade knives. I've looked at the Emerson when I bought this one but I really wanted the Osborne. You can't go wrong either way. It's all about which one you like.
Thank you
Great knife
I'm glad to have it.

Its a great knife
@@BoomStickTactical Just bought a 9400 and I'm gonna beat on it. Anything under 300 is ok to beat on in my book.
@darth nader I don't think it will last if u beat on it, it just doesn't feel robust. I could be wrong.
What do you think about the Benchmade Emerson 9700 auto?

I enjoy the knife 9400 is A tough knife
I worry more about losing it than I do hurting it.
Is there a left handed version of this knife??
There may be one or even a way to reverse it. I'm not sure
I beat the holy hell out of my high end knives..... not collectables. 9400 is not a collectable. I beat on SOCOM MICROTECHS.
It's a great knife.
Me too they’re just a tool not a keepsake just a tool
