Absolutely, the biggest take away from this the need for transparency is a must for the NBL to address. There's all sorts of takes over social media and a lot of them are a result of the details being uncertain.

Love having Liam visit. Mr SANTAmaria can you do Santa’s watching segment for all of December please. Possibly in the theme of spotted being Naughty or Nice……

Whats also overlooked about all this is like the (non-ironic 20yr anniversary of) the “Malice in the Palace”, much like Detroit that night, Adelaide were getting their asses kicked, and as the new league darling’s surprisingly hasnt been covered enough. Melbourne had their two offences figured out from well- before the jump

You are all spot on about more transparency in the process. How it is a “one-man tribunal” is baffling? Who even is this one man? And how did Shae Ili, the third man in who escalates EVERYTHING, seems to have got off without any repurcussion?
This has been most intelligently broken down on last weeks HasBeen Hoops pod with Anstey & Wortho prior to the penalties being handed down. Worth a look at their take prior, then to see this after the result is nice a bookend to the entire flaws, faults and positives of the process.
But yeah, transparency is key from the league, whether they like it or not at least it will engage and educate the fans and other teams of the process

I disagree with FVH. It's pretty bloody obvious the nbl want MU to win the trophy again.

The players didn’t just start trying to fight those fans for no reason, absolutely disgusting behaviour from the Melbourne fans.

I wouldn't mind getting Dereck Rucker to rank these four as basketball players....

Now you CAN'T say that, without ranking them yourself.... ??? 😂🤣👍
      Have a go... 👍👍👍

@@raven4475 Oh Dam. Well, there’s a clear top half of the group, but lot harder picking the bottom half I reckon.. 😜
OK, ranking is based on NBL (pro) career only, because I think Felix is the only one that played for Australia (junior) and also had a really good college career.
Not sure of the timing, but it seems becoming “The Bachelor” may not have helped his pro basketball career. Though in fairness, you probably need to balance that out with the increased opportunity and output he’s likely to have experienced in his “extra curricular pursuits” as a result of entering the noble pursuit of reality tv stardom. 😐
      😜
So, from best to not-best as a pro:
      1) Damian
      2) Daylight
      3) Hooley
      4) Not daylight, but certainly a gap large enough you could drive a truck through.
      5) Liam
      6) The Bachelor
      Done - easy.
      👍😁

Personally I think the NBL went very light on KD and Haz and I get that. But how can Adelaide come out and say they accept responsibility and yet Haz come out and blatantly lie on twitter? Dude need to grow up and own his actions. He just spat in the face of the NBL going easy on him, he could have and probably should have had more weeks. Punch someone in the face and not get weeks is wild!
