America doesn't have a drinking culture because it was settled by Puritan assholes who thought the CHURCH OF ENGLAND was too liberal. It blows. That said, when either of you come back to Orlando my husband and I will be happy to take you and your wives to places you can get good beer - at our local breweries. There are like 10 in the downtown area alone! Our cocktail culture is also pretty lit. Outside of that, like I mentioned on Insta, you will not find a proper pint if your life depends on it. Even the Irish pub pints aren't quite right. As for the food, I think the positive thing here is that you can really find almost anything you want. Within 3 blocks of my house there is authentic Italian, Irish, Mexican, Cuban, Vietnamese, Thai, Peruvian, and also the standard sandwiches, burgers, etc. There was a lot of chatter on the local Orlando blogs about who that guy was hanging out at Volcano Bay in a track suit, so I'm glad we've cleared that up 😂 (kidding)
