- There are many interesting places to visit in Khor Fakkan, one of the cities in the emirate of Sharjah. After driving through the 5 tunnels and indulging in a nature walk while learning history in the Wadi Shees Nature Trail, visitors may enjoy the spectacular landscape of rugged mountains surrounding the lake while on a boat or kayak in Al Rafisah Dam. Relaxing in Khor Fakkan beach or riding a boat to Shark Island for swimming in a clear turquoise water is also an option. Driving up to Al Rabi Tower, enjoying the magnificent panoramic view of the city and hiking up to the summit of Al Rabi Mountain to watch the stunning sunset are my favorites during the trip. The visit in the city is not complete without buying fish in the Khor Fakkan fish market.

Of all the places I’ve visited in Khor Fakkan, my favorite is hiking up to the peak of Al Rabi mountain. If offers not only a breathtaking panoramic view of the city but also a perfect spot for watching the lovely sunset over the rugged mountains.

My Filipino dad's favorite is the street food market in the Oman area because it reminds him of the street food in MNL and my Arab mom's favorite is Al Rafisah Dam. Thanks again for the video. Recently moved to fujairah and this video is really helpful to explore khor fakan , and yes u missed the waterfall place in khor fakan.

We went to Luluyah beach last month for camping but we didn’t know that there’s a place you can hike to see the full view of the city. Will definitely try this on the upcoming winter months.

It’s a Lovely Day I did it in 2 days but it’s possible to do all the activities in one day if you start early in the morning

Please let me know from 3rd tunnel how to reach wadi al shees and Al rafisha dam and the way back from korfakhan beach to al rab mountain is how ?..It's really beautiful the way you've presented the videos
Aysha Munawara Thank you! I’m glad that you like the video. Just after the first tunnel, take the exit to the shees village. Drive till you reach the shees nature trail. Few meters before the trail is the entrance to the wadi shees which I failed to visit and not shown in the video. From the shees village, you go back to the main road and pass through the 4 remaining tunnels. Drive straight and the dam is on the left. You won’t miss the al rafisah dam coz its huge and can be seen from the road. I would suggest to use google map to navigate al Rabi tower from khor fakkan beach. Al Rabi tower is the starting point to hike al Rabi mountain. I hope these info help. Have fun exploring Khor Fakkan 😊

Beena Irfan Oceanic resort is not a bad choice for a weekend stay. More options in al aqah area though, just a few kilometers drive from khor fakkan
