this is really well mixed, not sure if it might be due to closer proximity to the keys and bass speakers but both of those instruments are far clearer than a lot of their live shows and it sounds great.
Just found this group at 4am on a Sunday. My neighbors are trying to keep the beat by banging on the wall but are failing horribly. I'm glad they like my musical taste
😂😂😂😂 I’m so glad I don’t live in apartments anymore. Hearing every step taken above and below me. Having to wake up at 5 am cus ppl above me got work early. Could basically hear every muffled convo. The vacuum cleaner was deafening. And having sex tryina be silent felt like trying to hide from your parents like a high schooler. Other places I remember just loud baseball bat sounds hitting the floor and I’d do it back to the ceiling 3 smacks and he’d do it back and it became our own language eventually to say be quiet. It became less aggressive and more of a secret code language.
@@alexmacdonald9182 Thee Oh Sees came first and is ofcourse the cooler band. Gizz is ok and made some kickass albums (best ones i own) between 2014 and 2017, but can't match the energy Oh Sees puts out live. Gizz glorytime is over while Osees is still putting out kickass stuff.

This is so funny. You can tell most of this crowd are not really familiar with Dwyer, they're way too calm at the start, a bit stunned. Eventually the mad heads come forward and loose their shit, dispersing the shocked bystanders; Then the Pickle drops in. This is one of the best OCS gigs I've seen.
I honestly don't know any band gigging in 2023 who are better than this. I saw Fuzz the other day, they are a very strong second at the moment. Peace friend
I'm fairly tall and always try to get front and centre. I know it's a bit annoying, but I like to get stuck in with the dancing, and elsewhere in the room, you end up surrounded by people just stood completely still. It kind of kills the atmosphere. Am I supposed to forego what is to me the most fun part, purely because I have a natural advantage when it comes to seeing the stage? I love when I see a tall person at the front, because then I can go and stand behind them without pissing anyone off.
@@thegrinderman1090 fuck short people. It’s a timing game and always has been. I’m tall and if I show up early enough to get in front, the people behind me have to deal with it. They choose not to arrive before me 🤷♂️
Nah, literally if you were to pan just to the left you’d see the meat and potatoes of the crowd (I’m the dude in the T hat coming in hot at 54:44). It was SXSW so you got a few more casuals than normal, but this is the very front right of the crowd and I can assure you Vegas gets rowdy when they play there, which is consistently 8 times a year

best live band on the planet
Their energy is so contagious, last year Osees live was the wildest concert I ever witnessed.
king gizzard is better

This is Hotel Vegas venue.
the Dream is possibly the greatest mosh pit song in history
The version from Pitchfork 2012 is 🔥
It's Flex by Prolapse

withered hand lmao
how the fuck cant they start mosh when static god is the first song lmao
@@holzVFX Exactly. I've seen them a few times in Manchester on a wet dreary midweek night and the moshing ALWAYS starts on the first note.
Austin is too chill 😤
And here I can't even find one drummer for my band :(
the (previously) unreleased song at 43:04 is Stunner off of Intercepted Message. It's a fantastic album opener!
I saw these in Liverpool front row I lost my hearing for 3 days. They absolutely blew me away 😂
Never thought I'd see two of my favorite things together: The Osees and Grillo's PIckles.
this is the best encrypted bounce i've heard
Amazing setlist, full of energy!
16:54 that damn pickle !
legends. what a set! dwyer is beast. nice vid
Damn so sick! They played all my favorites! Please please come play for us here in Japan ❤❤❤
Chem farmer is soooo nostalgic. I love this concert!

Love the kick up the arse of the crowd surfer as he jumps.

Always fun when the tallest dork at the concert stands front row center. Me...me..me.

We're the OCs from Los Angeles.
Not from the Bay Area.
Dave, I told you so😋
They were in San Fran for a while, for what it’s worth
Started in SF
They moved to LA and opened a recording studio/practice space

the part of the crowd we see in the vid at least kicks it up a bit, especially once they pull out the a foul form stuff
