Exactly. They need to suffocate them in the first half and don’t let them hang around. Crazy stuff happens in this rivalry but msu is a wreck this year snd Michigan is playing really well. They haven’t forgotten last year and I believe theirs serious about getting Paul back.

When it comes to a rival, especially this rivalry. You can throw rankings and everything out the window. I think Michigan still wins but by less than the spread.
On the the defense getting turnovers, easy to forget that the less plays the opposing offense runs the fewer opportunities you have to nab a turnover.
When looking at the receivers they're still all very talented and as we move forward you're going to see that what is being missed in the evaluation is the focus they've been paying attention to blocking rather than getting separation that's going to come go Blue

We have to gauge these guys by what they've done this season & not the last two seasons. They seemed to have found there identity Ⓜ️🏈
Nothing “hypothetical” about how fun this season has been so far. 🤷♂️
Here is Sparty statistically: 104th in YPG offense, 66th in Pass Offense (that's their best stat of them all!), 116th in Rush Offense, 80th in Scoring Offense, 103rd in YPG defense, 107th in Pass Defense, 80th in Rush Defense and 71st in Scoring Defense. That's out of 131 teams. Seeing this, it's clear that MSU has no significant upside as a team. Frankly it's a miracle that they're 3-4 with 2 wins over bad MAC teams and had to go to 2OT to beat an awful Wisconsin team at home. Michigan has the advantage in every facet of the game. The only way this game gets close is if it rains or snows. Outside of that, expect a rout. Michigan 56, Michigan State 3.

I want these talented recievers to show everybody what they can do when they become the vocal point. Come on Harbaugh let JJ rip it. Fades are junk football
Not just him but Cornelius Johnson as well. These 2 are 6-2 and 6-3 and 0 fades are called in the redzone to these guys. At some point the passing game has to be a vocal point especially when the opponent can't defend against the pass. Harbaugh has this 90s mentality that is way outdated. We've got a 5 star at QB so let him take shots in the end zone when in the redzone

Look for some dirty play from Sparty. They literally have nothing to lose. JJ needs to have eyes in the back of his head for the late hit/cheap shot. Sparty pulls that crap anyway, let alone a year like this.
MSU will be ready +. As was said, this is MSUs bowl game certainly most important game of year for MSU.
I love my Wolverines, and they have been defined the doubters thus far, advice: stay humble, remember this is a little brother he’s robbery games are different, and you also have the bye week that you have to circumnavigate for (in) not being game ready for a week, all of these create trap situations.
Be humble and be ready to stop that ass and present the nuggie knuckle to little brother when you get back.
Defense: ABB… always be blitzing, take the edge away, shoot the gaps and drop their quarterback
Offense: stop with the conventional parlor plays on first and second down, that’s causing JJ to throw pics, leave the cute play action nine cents for third down, stick to the meat and potatoes that’s been defying the odds against you, run the ball on first and second down, it’s boring, but there’s a method to the madness, keep it up for two downs, they have nothing to throw at you by the fourth quarter and that’s when you out last year opponents!

Something that is always a concern for our Michigan defense has less to do with talent, and more to do with derivative plays that have not been shown on films. Michigan opponents always seem to try running something that starts from a familiar offensive scheme, but change up the play call: Michigan defense needs to be all over this with sticking to assignments (not get burned). All that pre-pro-level stuff that can cost games.
Msu is going to dump everything they got into this game. Michigan should still beat the crap outta them though
