Province optimization is even more insanely overpowered in the new 1.3.4 public beta! But yes, we will see a lot more province optimization in this series.
I wanna thank you summary for what you've given to the community, you're a real one! Quick question, I've been experimenting with specing a general and his army into full missile dmg and range. My Rhodian slingers reach something like 220 range - 13 dmg , while my cretan and Syrian archers reach something like 170-190 range and i think 22-19 dmg respectively. Artillery is buffed too. Said army is all ranged units of course and is supported by an all melee one. ⚔ Its fun for sure, viable even. I get good results in battle, though not in autoresolve. I like how elite and balanced your armies are though and i wanna ask, do you think my build is even worth the effort?
Hey so in regards to your question. I would say that this strategy that you outlined is certainly more effective, but it is overkill in my opinion and it does have its drawbacks. As you have correctly noticed, I typically go for an elite and balanced army. The reasons are as follows: (1) SELF-RELIANCE: A single stack is capable of function on its own without the need for another stack to fill in the gaps. (2) ADAPTIBILITY: A single stack is capable of handling any situation, be it an offensive battle, defensive battle, assaulting walled settlements, etc. (3) MULTI-FACETED: A single stack is capable of countering any army. It presents very few weaknesses. (4) PENETRATIVE: A single stack consists of well-balanced population requirements, making it easier to replenish. My typical ratio is 20-25% nobles, 35-40% warriors, the remainder are commoners/foreigners. This allows them to campaign deeper into enemy territory and maintain the offensive momentum. (5) EFFECIENCY: A single stack is a lot more manageable with micro and the avoidance of reinforcements trickling into the battle allows you to soldifiy your setup before the battle begins. This translates to better battle performance. Hope that helps
@@TWSummary wow, i was expecting a yes or no answer but you actually put real effort into it! You're correct in that a twin stack is harder to respond to threats. Oh well, i had figured my build was kinda memey. Thanks anyways and keep it up. Hope you finished your out-town business
Been eagerly awaiting thank you Summary!
Loving the videos. Hope you had a great vacation! Can you do Alexander campaign next please? 🙏
@@b20rock would love to.
