When I was a teenager I contemplated suicide, but called out to God to show me if he was real. I saw no purpose to life and questioned why I was here and what it would be like to just not exist. Then during a loud thunderstorm I stepped out onto the front porch of our home, and standing there a picture came to my mind of hands holding an Ant Farm. The ants were busy, busy running through the tunnels doing their thing unaware of being cared for. I realized that we people were like the ants! At that moment I knew God was real and that He loved me! The next day a girl at school asked to talk to me and told me God loved us so much that He sent his son as a substitute for us. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because He never sinned. See, the Bible tells us the wages of sin is death. We deserve to die for our sins and all of us have sinned. If we've ever lied, stolen anything, used God's name in vain, lusted and we stand before God he will judge us according to His law and we will go to hell-we've earned it. What did God do to make a way for us not to be eternally separated from Him in a horrible place? Jesus died a criminals death and rose again! If we repent and trust in Jesus we are given eternal life with Him! If we are in a air plane and plan to jump out and plan to flap our arms to save ourselves we will die! But, if we put on a parachute and trust in it we live! Jesus is like the parachute! Being a good person will save no one. We cannot stand before a judge for our crimes and tell him about the good things we've done and expect to be set free! However, someone else could pay our fines if we have speeding tickets, for example and the judge could say your debt is paid-you are free. I hope you choose Him today! He loves you and wants you in His family!

Hi Larry! I enjoy hearing your perception of Jeremy’s voice purely from a musical standpoint. I wonder what it would be like if your heart decided to inquire about the reasons Jeremy has so much emotion in his voice. Maybe, he really has received the heart of a Man that is, just that. Lovely.
When I was a teenager I contemplated suicide, but called out to God to show me if he was real. I saw no purpose to life and questioned why I was here and what it would be like to just not exist. Then during a loud thunderstorm I stepped out onto the front porch of our home, and standing there a picture came to my mind of hands holding an Ant Farm. The ants were busy, busy running through the tunnels doing their thing unaware of being cared for. I realized that we people were like the ants! At that moment I knew God was real and that He loved me! The next day a girl at school asked to talk to me and told me God loved us so much that He sent his son as a substitute for us. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice because He never sinned. See, the Bible tells us the wages of sin is death. We deserve to die for our sins and all of us have sinned. If we've ever lied, stolen anything, used God's name in vain, lusted and we stand before God he will judge us according to His law and we will go to hell-we've earned it. What did God do to make a way for us not to be eternally separated from Him in a horrible place? Jesus died a criminals death and rose again! If we repent and trust in Jesus we are given eternal life with Him! If we are in a air plane and plan to jump out and plan to flap our arms to save ourselves we will die! But, if we put on a parachute and trust in it we live! Jesus is like the parachute! Being a good person will save no one. We cannot stand before a judge for our crimes and tell him about the good things we've done and expect to be set free! However, someone else could pay our fines if we have speeding tickets, for example and the judge could say your debt is paid-you are free. I hope you choose Him today! He loves you and wants you in His family!
