Thank you for showing a part of our beautiful province that a lot of people don't know about!

Winnipeg Beach looks nice in the summer, hard to believe it has such bitter cold winters where you can drive on the lake.

Yup, and cross country ski on the lake (I've done it). It completely freezes over in the Winter, but in the summer it gets up to the 30+ degree Celsius mark.

I liked the use of non-driving footage in this video, Phil. Nice change-up.
Winnipeg Beach looks like a nice little place.

Thanks. I wanted to show the actual beach but the road doesn't go right up to the water because the road is set back about 70-80 metres from the waterfront. So I just grabbed the little camera and went handheld on the beach to give a bit of a look :-D

I've received word that this video may have been blocked in the US. I'll try to upload a different version later with a different song in a few days.

"Intersection nonsense". Haha, I remember when Highways 7 and 8 intersected with the Perimeter; lights and all. That was of course nearly 30 years ago. At least the south end is finally getting attention.

Hey Phil, did you happen to get an haze or smoke in Manitoba from the fires in British Columbia and Alberta? A majority of the summer here was extremely dry and hot with no visibility due to smoke.

That happened the summer before last, but not so much this summer.
