Amelia was a survivor of the Donner party who died later on. I did a report on them and went to Sutter’s fort as a kid for an overnight field trip (my assigned person was Leanna Donner). If you guys can, you should go to Sutter’s fort for a night. We saw apparitions on the field and an imprint on John Sutter’s bed during our night tour.

I think the reason why they're so successful is because of the respect they show towards all of the spirits whether good or evil. This is the best ghost hunting channel out there in my opinion.

The most terrifying thing to me is what they say about skinwalker screams: if it sounds close, it’s far. If it sounds far, it’s extremely close. Those screams in the middle of the video means if it was a skinwalker, it was right on top of you.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. And with coyotes, it’s similar. They can manipulate their voice to sound right behind you, but be miles away and vice versa, and there could be 2 of them, but make it sound like there’s 10.

A suggestion, if you’re open to it - it’d be interesting to hear from a local Native American when doing a skin walker episode. Hearing the cultural perspective would be insightful, and would add deeper layers to the storytelling. Would also LOVE to do an investigation one day with you, as a fan. Perhaps a raffle of some kind? Love the channel, thank you for doing what you do.

I found you guys a few months ago. I was amazed with how respectful you were with your introductions, saying please and thank you, and helping anyone who needed to cross over. I have noticed in the last month that has disappeared. In its place is screaming, yelling, cussing and disrespect towards spirits. Please go back to what drew all of us to you guys- respect, true investigating, and let us hear these things along with you instead of screaming and yelling. You guys have a true gift. I totally agree. Being hard of hearing, it's very hard to hear anything paranormal and they have changed a lot recently. I understand they are excited but when they're all screaming and shouting at the same time, it's pretty much impossible to understand what's going on. I hope they do revert back to how they used to be. I've even noticed Nick has been missing for a long time too?
Completely agree! A few months ago I was amazed by the respect and the way they explained their methods to spirits that probably wouldnt understand without explanation. Now they just rush into it... Hope it returns

Skip the skin walker videos then, they aren't spirits nor do they communicate like regular spirits. They are completely different entity's, naturally the forms of communication will change. It's also terrifying because unlike the spirits, the skin walkers can actually HURT you. That's why it's so hard for the guy's not to be jumpy and a little loud, cut them some slack. They are real people not just TH-cam personas.

I have been a seeker long before it was considered cool content. I have experienced things many would not have believed years ago and because of content like this it's now possible to share experiences and attain more information on the subject. I don't believe we'll ever have answers but we may come real close. Thank you for sharing and taking all the risk. I couldn't imagine how frustrating it would be to be a spirit from such a tragic event like the Donner party trying to plead for help to recover their body for a proper burial and then to constantly be asked about skinwalkers from people who don't know what they are talking about.

If you enjoy outside investigations I also recommend Mackie and Amanda (Amanda has been on this channel a few times recently). Just last week they posted an investigation of a pet cemetery (which to me sounded meh, but turned out to be really, really good with some insane evidence), but they've done loads of outside investigations including at murder sites focusing on one specific murder, Native American land and have done a couple SW videos as well! I highly recommend them and hope you enjoy their content as much as I do! 😊✌🏻

Also these intros are so well put together. I love how you explain the back story and the music compliments it and helps to emphasize the story.
I know some people get annoyed when you get excited and get a bit louder but as someone who seen spirits all her life and has a family full of mediums, it never stops to excite and amaze you when you get a connection, you just can't help your initial reaction sometimes.
For those who are upset they can't hear the sounds, it's actually quite hard to pick up some sounds with in-camera mics without some sort of extra equipment such as a boom mic, sound training and being able to predict where the sound is going to come from. These guys are far more advanced than most with their editing style which is clearly seen during their intro sequence. Sure they wouldn't mind you all giving a few pennies/pounds/dollers towards better equipment if you really want to help their development.
TP - Keep doing what you love, being respectful to spiritual and being authentic to who you all are individual and as a team - the right audience will stay and continue to grow with you.

Equipment question: Is it possible for bugs flying to (even though they're small) to be registered by the music box?
At first I was like, "noises in a forest....Could be all sorts of animals or trees or things". Like the "woman scream" can be a fisher cat. They sound super spooky and like a woman screaming bloody murder (or a baby crying). Or like when you saw the person in the field and then heard "help"...It's dark so it would be hard to see, but there COULD BE other people there while you are, ducking down, etc. But to have all the devices going off at the same time, that's a lot harder to debunk! And the vocal responses on your device were so perfect! And hearing that voice yell help would be freaky regardless of whether it was a person or spirit LOL!

I always wonder, Why there is no single person out there looking for and investigating Skinwalker or Wendigo creature?
I feel like they always just start making sense of thing and then leave.
I Hope they dig deeper and ask actual questions about them.
Like "Are you stuck in a blizzard? Do you still see snow around you or do you see our world? Do you know you are remembered? etc."
I just feel as if it would bring out more and give more to the table, and seem more solid as communication. Trying to get answers how and why they are here and how they can still talk or see the living.

What a great collab! I've been watching twin and Josh one after the other and I was sure youtube was bugging when I saw Joshes face on the thumbnail in Twin Paranormal channel 🤣 Both of you have amazing setups and pretty much the best investigations with credible evidence. Some improvements for the future though would be the use of wearable action cameras. These things seem to be sneaking right at the edges of the recordings and moments where you forgot to point the cameras. You can get affordable 5k 360 bodycams that could give you footage otherwise missed. Everything would be captured from multiple angles even in the situations where you'd otherwise forgot to point the camera. All the love for you guys and keep up the good work!

I remember that when you first talked about collaborations, I was afraid and said so in my comment because I didnt' want you to be corrupted by "ghosthunters" being more focused on likes than on contents or respect to the spirits. Amanda, Colin, and now Josh and Seth : I am thrilled! A collab with Sam and Colby, another one with Paranormal nightmares, one with Haunted nights, and you would have shared investigations with all the English spoken investigators that deserve that name as far as respect to "the other side" and willingness to understand it and get us to do so. Great investigation! I am usually not keen on outdoors' ones, but this was great, thank you all.

Love the Tahoe area, but once the sun goes down, those woods are creeeepy. My friend and I have had some weird experiences up there, including while driving home to the bay late one night and seeing a partial person walking by the side of the road dressed in dated clothing. Donner Summit does not disappoint!

When I was a kid I heard about a plane that crashed in the Andes mountains in 1972. It was carrying a Uruguayan rugby team. They had to resort to cannibalism to survive. Just a little correction you are hunting wendigo not skinwalkers, wendigo are Canadian native mythological creatures, essentially if you get stranded in the woods and have to resort to cannibalism you turn into wendigo, it’s sorta the Canadian version of skinwalkers but they’re usually skinny pale and fast.
But they’re in the United States, not Canada. And specifically they’re here in the West, where the Skinwalker legend comes from.
