I can really understand why this is a popular place, because it was absolutely stunning 🤩 Loved those enormous ferns and the colour on some of the rocks 👍 Great workout on those steps 😄
Its such a stunning walk isn't it Mark! There was so many more people on the track when you went! We really must've gotten lucky, the whole area was so quiet when we were there, except the car parks were full?!? So unless there was just lots of people canyoning? Great walk and talk as always Mark! Hope that knee feels better soon!
IDK, it may have been because I did it anti clockwise and most to it clockwise, meaning I came across more people coming from the other direction rather than "going with the flow". From memory it was a Thursday so wasn't expecting that many people.
There was just about always the sound of water falling or flowing all along the walk. I did find the walk a challenge even before my knee started hurting
@@markzphotoscom oh ! I hope your knees aren’t too sore . This walk did have a lot steps. Take care . We used to love visiting gooseberry falls up north in Minnesota , this one time I slipped on the damp moss covered steps pretty bad :( But seeing the falls was worth it 😊
@@NRImomslifestyle Its been 9 days and its still not 100%. I can walk on the flat ok but going up or down steps puts extra pressure on it and it hurts. It comes and goes and the Drs cant work out exactly what causes it. It goes away after a few days and I'm good till next time....

I love that you even say at the creek crossing that you had no trouble crossing but it would be a different story after the rain. We certainly captured the “after the rain” part 😂 we were drenched head to toes! Great video! Such beautiful footage.
@@bee2fastIt was steep. Lots of stairs. You go down and along the canyon. A few moderate ups and downs and then the climb out. I did have a problem with my knee so it was doubly hard. Having said that the recommended time for the walk was 3 to 4 hours and I came in at 3 1/2 hrs so even with a few stops and me being 66, I did ok. If you have reasonable hiking fitness you would be ok.

nice video , we did it the other way last time we were there . It was great to see it from the other way first .
IDK but I was told anti clockwise meant an easier finish but I found it hard. The bum knee didn't help but thinking clockwise may have been easier.

This national park has quite a few that are on my list. I'll get to them slowly. Next walk there will have a few waterfalls.
