Great cards! Dave does such a good job, too. I have to grin when he glues the papers together. We ladies typically press and smooth the papers together. Dave, typical man, likes to use his strength and pound the pieces of paper together. It made me smile every time he did that. Great job, both of you. A fun video to watch!

Dave cracks me up! I really enjoy these with both of you. Sometimes a monologue tutorial is informative but like watching paint dry. The commentary between the two of you makes it so much more fun. Great activity for passing away a winter day.

Somehow I missed this video so I am catchig the replay. Dave is amazing, being able to see that shortcut! My darling is an engineer also - they just view the world differentliy. Don't you just love being married to one! I subscribe to your blog and love when you and Dave create together. I suggested it to my Ron...he mystery stamps with me but flatly refused anything more Dave is a great sport!

My first time finding you. I'm so glad I did. I craft with my granddaughters and this is ideal. I've ever seen the format of cutting and folding out of scrap and leaving to measurements as a template to keep in a box for reference. Genius! Yes, Dave. You are right! Of course, your engineer' s mind saw it immediately! Two cuts after scoring at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2. Then, just switch the smaller part upside down, right? You are the best assistant I've ever seen. Lovely husband!

This second lesson is sooo much fun!!! Dave has improved his gluing technique.
I agree that he could come up w/a fun fold of his own choosing. When he mentioned the "pink" tip, I could see that it made sense to do everything at once on the trimmer. I will go back & make my templates later. I always watch first for entertainment purposes. Y'all's interactions are priceless😁😆🤣

This tutorial popped up on my feed this morning, and I had to find out how to make the double-Z fold using the wine glasses--so cute to sandwich two together where both sides show. Jackie, you are so clever, and Dave shows us just how easy these cards are. I can't wait to make my own! Thank you!

On days I get a chance to stamp but don't feel well or just seem to be kind of off, thanks to you I now make templates! They don't have to be my best work because no one else will see them, and they still record the details that will help me make beautiful cards in the future! Thanks for the inspiration.

Hello Lynn. I am exactly like you. I have been ill and don't have much energy right now, but I can follow along with Jackie and Dave without needing to be creative. And - bonus - I get to use my ugly papers. I bang them on (a bit like Dave), not even bothering if they are a bit crooked, and say, " There, take that - you ugly paper - you won't be making me feel guilty again, because I've finally *used* you!"
(Do you feel guilty about all that paper you have that you really don't like, but can't bring yourself to throw away?)

Great tutorial as always. I now have my husband watching some of it with me. He is NOT an engineer, but he picked up right away on where Dave was gong with the cut on the pink card while, I, like you, took a minute to see what was happening! That's called teamwork!! Love it and having four new templates.
