Boy, you really confussed me on which ones you used clear wax, white wax, paint and wax? I’m a beginner with waxes so I need a lot of direction. I may listen to video again to get more details.
I’m sorry Karen. I haven’t had this channel long and I realize I need to be more clear. If the class is shiny at all I spray it with a clear coat first to hep the paint stick. If I used a dark color paint and the item had a lot of detail, I used white wax. I hope that helps.
Your animals turned out so pretty. I think I want to get white wax. It really brings out details on your crafts. The displays were very nice. Have a blessed day.
I love Burnt Umber for chocolate...but boy did I find out the hard way, lol, after much wasted time and a little wasted paint, you can not MAKE burnt umber! Lol! I tried. For TOO LONG, lol, to mix different colors and just couldnt get it. It was right after the lockdowns and I didnt have anymore Burnt Umber and couldnt find any online that were in stock and all the craft stores near me was sold out of MANY colors! It took a while and I ended up paying a little too much for a tube from Amazon, after wasting more time than I care to admit to trying to make it, lol! But after wasting time and paint, I just didnt care anymore if it was like $5-6 more than Id pay ANYWHERE for a tube of paint! But, frustration can be blinding sometimes, hahaa!!!!! LOVE the bunnies! Cant wait to start with my Spring projects next week!
Thank you Sarah. We are in Knoxville, Tn. I have actually decided to start working on vignettes in my store on my videos. So I’ll start showing parts of it tomorrow actually😉

I can definitely relate to that! I mix paints a lot and often with bad results. Thank you for watching!

Would you mind zooming in closer. Can't see what you're doing. Thank you.
Yes Kathy. I have been working on that lately. I know it was an issue
WHERE do you ever find these adorable rabbits? Really hard to find where I live…
I thrift every Monday and I hit 8-10 stores sometimes. I also love yard sales when they’re in season.
I am hitting the thrift stores for some birds now.
Beautiful i loved them all , what’s the name of your shop? and where is it located. would love to see a tour of it.

The camera is too far away to really see anything.
Thanks for your input. And yes, I agree. I’ve been working on that.
