they should release a separate version with the same beginning but for teens about how different life is after they go home or something similar. not quite an Au, but still different. maybe make the main plot about how bill comes back and haunts dipper and ford the same way Voldemort uses Harry in hp. he uses his connection to get his way; which is world domination. if the rumors that Disney is trying to push Gravity Falls under the rug, then why not let it fly out the window to another studio to grow into a show for older audiences?
