- Welcome to Episode 1 from my #UnseenArunachal series. In this episode, I am taking you all to BASAR - a remote town in Eastern Arunachal. Countless hidden and beautiful villages are a part of Basar which falls in Lepa Rada district in Arunachal Pradesh. This entire town is home to 'Galo Tribes' There are 26 tribes and 100+ sub-tribes in Arunachal which is also said to the largest among the Seven Sister States on NorthEast India. It's almost impossible to reach Basar without the help of a guide, genuine thanks to the remoteness of this place. This beautiful part of Arunachal is so untouched and I wish it remains untouched, far from the crowd that goes to a place just to litter :)

I had visited many Basar many times. Many of my brilliant students (now they are in govt.jobs) are from here.So lovely place.The.culture of the people is wonderful. Again I will the place.

Basar is pronounced as Baasaar.. I have served in west siang district for thirty seven years and Basar was a part of it upto last year.. People here are very friendly and hospitable..

1. Travel route to this place from Delhi by bus, air, train
2. RECIPES were Missing . I look forward to seeing the simple chicken , dal , chutney , beer recipes .

Simply a wonderful place it is. One more Heavenly sight enveloped in serenity is the point near Ecopark. The dark nights and pristine sunny greens can be enjoyed from Hotel Tumsi near BASAR from Silapathar.

I just lost myself while watching this episode covering BASAR, your rendering quality, acting & communication with the localities is just incredible. The experience was like seeing a movie of my favourite actor/actress based on true story covering remote places in India and it suddenly came to an end when you said good bye to the home stay owner and promised you will came back again to this heavenly place, Kudos to all of your efforts and thanks to those people who supported you for making this excellent vlog.
