Again total lack of training, seriously where in the gun safety manual does it say you just keep tugging on the gun to remove it, and to think this officer is carrying a gun!
This over all, “officer safety rule” not law has gotten more and more of an excuse over the years. It is not the law, it’s a rule they made to circumvent our rights. Under Florida’s constitutional concealed carry law, you are required to tell the officers you have a concealed weapon, but only if NOT licensed to carry concealed. If licensed you do not have to inform them of the weapon. Strange difference in the law between the two. It was some type of concession made when final draft of the law. Should not be this way, the Constitution of the United States has no reference to this in any way. It either IS a right or it isn’t, and it IS our right. There are groups trying to get this changed. Oh no, do not put it on the seat next to you. This will ramp up their initial response. Follow the law as written, just like he did. They have “chilled” his constitutional rights, THAT is a crime as well.
The cops screwed this up. They should have asked him if he had a permit to carry. If he did, they should have asked to see it. Once he produced it, there would be no more reason to take the gun off him. The cop should have explained that he needed the driver to keep his hands out of the window while the traffic stop was being conducted. That would have solved the problem.
This happened in Jacksonville Florida. We have constitutional carry. As long as you are not prohibited from possessing a firearm, you may carry a firearm. You do not need a “permit”. They even noted this in the press conference video that you are commenting on.
What's the point of being a law abiding citizen and having legal possession of a firearm and disclosing to police that you are a law abider only to be treated like a criminal and almost lose your life to the same police that you are trying to please by showing them that you have been such a good boy and followed all the rules? What is the benefit? Tell me.
There is no way that gun went off without the officer pulling the trigger. Glocks simply do not go off unless the trigger is pulled. The officer that shot him with his 9MM gun had a negligent discharge that would land anyone else in jail.
She didn’t need to touch the gun on purpose. Blue Line Gangsters have no more a right to be armed than anyone else. Their sycophantic ego can’t accept it.
Another note to this video in response to a question the victim was asked about telling the officer if he has a firearm or not if he was not asked. In some states it's mandatory to declare that you have a firearm with immediate contact with law enforcement even if you are not asked. To not disclose that can get you arrested. Definitely tell an officer if they ask you no matter what state it's in.
HOLD ON...they seized your private, personal property???? WTF?!?!?! Unless they are using it as evidence to charge the cop with aggravated assault, they had ZERO authority to seize your property. They refuse to release the report????
Prime example why you shouldn’t disclose the knowledge of your firearm. Just allow them to write you a ticket me keep it moving. We already know most cops are raging idiots.
YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TOUCH, DISARM, OR REMOVE ANYTHING FROM A LAW ABIDING CITIZEN ...DO YOUR TRAFFIC STOP AND HAVE A GOOD DAY...ANYTHING OTHER THAN THAT, YOU’RE COMMITTING A CRIME AGAINST THAT PERSON AND VIOLATING HIS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS ALL OVER OFICER SAFETY..GET ANOTHER JOB IF YOU A SCARED WIMP
They have no business even touching a citizens gun, i have seen so many times where they unarm a citizen and end up pointing the gun right at them, when saying that they ignore you like what's the big deal, you will not handle my gun, i don't trust you enough to touch it
Be real curious how often this LEO asks about firearms. In the future I advise ALL people to NEVER answer any question offered by law enforcement. No state shall draft any law that violates constitutional law.

Again total lack of training, seriously where in the gun safety manual does it say you just keep tugging on the gun to remove it, and to think this officer is carrying a gun!
Maybe that lady cop is proud of the new flashy tattoo the sheriff will give as a service award.
They have “chilled” his constitutional rights,
THAT is a crime as well.
Tell me.
"Should have asked to see if he had a permit" in a state where no permits are requiered. Interesting idea though.
Florida is constitutional carry, no permit required...
@@rivertownrider7126 thank you for pointing that out. That bolsters my point; the cops screwed this up.
They will investigate themselves, and find no wrongdoing.
As always
There is no way that gun went off without the officer pulling the trigger. Glocks simply do not go off unless the trigger is pulled. The officer that shot him with his 9MM gun had a negligent discharge that would land anyone else in jail.
Why would they take and keep his holster?
They will attempt to transplant a living human finger into the holster in a lame attempt to blame the holster for pulling the trigger, simple.
@wadestanton lol
What kind of holster was it?
Inside the waistband concealed carry holster...
@@kskeel1124I thought he said it was on the outside of the waistband
YEAH, RIGHT, she shot that gun on purpose!
She didn’t need to touch the gun on purpose. Blue Line Gangsters have no more a right to be armed than anyone else. Their sycophantic ego can’t accept it.
At a minimum there was extreme negligence and care concerning the gun. Keep licking the boot Beevis.

Tugging on a loaded firesrm that's on a citizen.
That's really smart...
She looks a little like Kerry Washington !!!
Meanwhile florida says "don't get close to film us, we all have body cams". DeSantis dropped the ball here. I believe every word this man is saying.
HOLD ON...they seized your private, personal property???? WTF?!?!?! Unless they are using it as evidence to charge the cop with aggravated assault, they had ZERO authority to seize your property. They refuse to release the report????
Like police care.
Law suit!"
Lol was the Safety on ? ( on a Glock?) idiots 😂😂😂😂
Glock don’t have a safety unless you wanna count that trigger ,
You ARE the SAFETy !
😁😁👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
If the witness that filmed it hasn't posted the video, i bet the police confiscated the phone.
Six to eight months that's bs
Don't ask, Don't tell.
Unfortunately, I don't think Mr. Arrington will win this case.
Why tug on a gun? Cops are so aggressive and quick to use excessive force. There was no need to take the man out of the car. Release the BC ASAP.
They should have never touched the gun just dumb sue them illegal search more unlawful officer safety rules trying to over ride law hmm 🤔
They have no business even touching a citizens gun, i have seen so many times where they unarm a citizen and end up pointing the gun right at them, when saying that they ignore you like what's the big deal, you will not handle my gun, i don't trust you enough to touch it
Get that money and end qualified immunity
Be real curious how often this LEO asks about firearms. In the future I advise ALL people to NEVER answer any question offered by law enforcement. No state shall draft any law that violates constitutional law.
Was she in training? Why did they let the female cop remove the weapon?
@@SLYSHY58 This will come up in the civil case. 📂 New officers or troopers have a probation term, FTO or field training officer. Some larger PDs or state agencies have a cop train with 2-3 FTOs to get a fair, unbias view.
DEI hires should never have or be around fire arms. They are DEI which means incompetent.
"Officer safety" averrules the law of this land which is the constitution..???
The cops probably confiscated the phone the lady was using to record
20:21 did they seize her video too
Hopefully there is body cam footage. Will dispell any lies here on either side.
Stupid TK Waters will no release the body camera because his officers are at fault
Wait 🤔 u don't believe the man that complied with the officers is telling the truth?
I really believe it was a training day for the female officer.
If it proved the police innocent they would have released it immediately.
@jeffreygoss8109 don't trust tk waters
He's probably not doing too bad, but because of the upcoming Lawsuit EVERYTHING hurts pretty bad. Heck, I'm getting seizures at night, I've started sleepwalking too now 😅
Negligence😦
Stupid over reaction…2nd Amendment rights people are silent
Safety in the trigger. Seems ofc index finger on the holster with enuff force that it pressed against the trigger as it cleared the holster.
@@anthonypeterson5618 that would push the trigger forward towards the muzzle and not rearward to activate the trigger.
She put her finger on, and depressed, the trigger.
Was he a felon no then it's out of the scope of the stop
What does felon have to do with anything?
I would definitely return the favor of that Second Amendment. This country will soon be at another Civil War soon. The People are fed tf up. Something tells me that there are more private citizens than there is public pirate police. Js🤷🏿♂️
Didn't watch the video
What did you expect

@18:53 then get shot going for a gun ,, ask questions later ,, naaaaaa stay in the car,, keep your hands on wheel ,,, = life and death decision
naaaaaaaaaaaaaa, stay in the car,, keep your hands on wheel or get shot for releasing seat belt ..
There is a case , where driver stood outside his vehicle , asked to get his insurance reached into vehicle to get Docs then shot before getting documents , victim asked "why you shoot me "",, and COP "I don't know" looking shocked as he had shot him ,,, = Paranoia
Yet what right did they have to then take (steal) the shot victim's gun away ,@10:43 and give give gun back at later date,,, except the holster👀👀
To then be shot by cop , with your own gun,,, then robbed of his legal gun,,,
& holster , which must now be reported stolen for passing yellow/amber light ..

Was the safety not on? Load was cambered?
Not really clear on this.
safety? load chambered? you don't shoot huh?
His gun doesn’t have a safety on it. Same gun they use as cops he said
@@bootman4life349 I did t hear him say that, thanks for clarifying.
@@rickjahndom load, round depends on whom you’re speaking to and if you were knowledgeable about on shooting or reloading you’d know this word used as I did is interchangeable.
not pulling the trigger is the safety. The trigger has a built in safety. Essentially a two-part trigger.
So, they returned the firearm but not the holster…what that tells me is their defense will be a defective holster….i wouldn’t be surprised if they even try other nefarious things to defend this cop
They will attempt to transplant a living human finger into the holster in a lame attempt to blame the holster for pulling the trigger, simple
Completely unnecessary situation that was manifested by the officers at every point of the encounter. The female shooter should be arrested for criminal negligence and possibly other charges. She should be fired, lose access to possess firearms, and never be allowed to work as an officer anywhere ever again.
