Back around 10 years ago they won't have done because the 81 was more popular because Redcar had more shops back then. Also, it did used to extend past Guisborough to Stokesley and ran every 30 mins and even operated on Sunday. Now its just an hourly route. A fair few get on it during the summer.
@@LAMtransport76 Yeh, the Guisborough bus stop screens are still messed up. It still has the 28 showing to Lingdale along with the updated 5A to Lingdale. They never fix anything around these parts. Also the 5/81 Bus stop towards Skelton way is broken and doesnt work.
The Solos seem to be ending up on the 81 quite a lot.

@NorthEastTravel1 The screens in the bus stops in Guisborough Market Place still show that the 81 goes to Stokesley for some reason.
