The jordinairs were outstanding. A time when music was soulful, had meaning and most of all you could actually understand it! Thankyou for posting it. I'm off looking for more of the same. I met Freddie briefly just a few months before we lost him. His final month's were tragic 😢. Such talent hounded and chased down for nothing. All the best from our sude🇬🇧👍🏻

Freddie was one of the most talented people in the 70s and 80s and was treated like absolute crap by the British media in the 90s, which led to him falling into depression

@EscapeTheMatrix...... Accusations were made against him that were proven to be a barrel of lies but as you say, it was wokery that eventually led to the end of his career. Awful. Thankfully, he was brought home to be buried with his parents on Merseyside.

This was a segment in a show called "An Audience With" where performers were invited to perform in front of an audience of celebrities.
Freddie was well known for his outrageous sense of humour and practical jokes. When he left the stage to interact with the audience you could see people in the audience getting nervous and agitated hoping he'd pick on soneone else😅.
    A multi talented man.

Elvis made many movies, most really beaten up by the critics but as a boy growing up in the 50s and 60s I couldn't wait for each new one to be released. My favourite back then was Kissing Cousins, where he played identical twins. Freddie was always so respectful with his Elvis impersonations. Great reaction. Thanks

I'm ray from Portsmouth UK, originally from London. I watch you views on freddy Starr. And it's a good feeling seeing someone else admire the raw talent. My father who was a music purist, would say stuff like , why is he taking the piss, why doesn't he just sing it properly. My father had his own opinion, but given that he used to drink and play darts with Tom Jones, who knows. It put me off performing music.
My father was actually right, the few times freddy sang serious.
I'm waffling.. the thing that most brits don't even know, freddy started his career as a singer. At the same time as the Beatles and all the other famous bands evolved.
Freddie's band was called Freddie starr and the midnighters.
    It was on you tube..
His comedy was an accident of queue blocking at an early stage of his singing. Just letting you guys know.. just a little backstory. And there is a lot more singer impressions that Freddie has done. But for your guys personal journey. Maybe have a look, Freddie Starr and the midnighters. Xx love your reviews on loads of your reviews

As a local lad from my home town of liverpool I was privileged to see Freddie at the Wooky Hollow cabaret club. He was an amazing live performer. His original zany routines would literally leave you with pains from laughing . And he did it all while overcoming a speech impediment. Truly unique . His like do not come along that often. His singing voice and his appearances on the Des O'Connor show bring back fond memories. There is no substitute for natural talent.

im 59 years old, elvis was the the top, bought all his lp's and stuff even after his death, i remember his death, im from the UK, and i was on holiday with my grandaparents, in the UK the summer break from school was 6 weeks, both my parents worked, so we went to our grandparents for the summer, 3 weeks at one grandparents and 3 weeks at another, i remember, sitting, my grandmother cutting my hair and it came on the news that elvis had passed, after that, we played his records, stop start copy the lyrics so i could sing along, the tape recorder was better than the record player,
what i find different now, is elvis came from the US, the fonze, skate boards, even top gun, so many american things filtered there way to the UK then europe, with the fonze, top gun, the fashion, we all buy leather jackets beatle crushers whit T shirts, then top gun, flight jackets and i iconic mirror sun glasses, but over the last 10 to 20 years, america has lost that greatness what we thought, to the point we dont care, what you have what your doing, all we hear now, is corruption, guns, school shootings, hi medical, poverty, they may now be because of more social media, guys you fallen behind in the US, come after me in the comments if you want

Saw him live many times back in the early 70's when I was a kid. His comedy show used to end and then the auditorium lights would go down and (I think it was this)...Strauss's Sprach Zarathustra would play and then "Elvis" would appear before our very eyes (70's style Elvis in white rhinestone encrusted jump suit)!! Freddie would perform lots of Elvis songs to end a fantastic evening of entertainment.
