    Ten or twelve years ago, no one on this entire planet would have ever anticipated the next big war to involve a hybrid between SOF and trench warfare. This is quite literally surreal.

      That to me is and always will be a foolish way of thinking. Never give up old school knowledge and skills. Never in any aspect of human survival give up old ways. Adapt the new ways, but keep the old ways as well. Old brought new.

    Arthur, the guy in the video shooting the 4 Russians is still alive. He said they already knew how many were going to be in the trench, he also said they had to crawl on their stomach to sneak up on the trench which took some time. Idk if he’s still active but he did get engaged recently.

    I saw the uncensored footage and take this how you will but I was less shocked and more humbled than anything. It’s not like the movies I tell ya. Those men were breathing and then they weren’t. There was no in between. Don’t take life for granted ladies and gentlemen, this could be you one day. I hope this senseless war ends quickly.

      I don't think it will end quickly, I think this is the biggest money laundering scheme in our lifetimes. And don't forget its white males killing white males, the general populace has zero issue with that. Remember how disgusted people were if you shared combat footage from Afghanistan? Compare that to everyone celebrating the deaths of Russian "Orcs" and "N.A.Z.I.s" all over social media.
      Things will only change if Xi kicks off WW3 due to China's upcoming population collapse/ famine/ flooding/ etc etc.

    I was involved in a shooting last month in py department. Guy ran at me and other officers with a handgun after killing multiple people the day prior. Me and another officer were struck but unharmed outside of a graze and a bruise. Thank god for body armor. But when the suspect entered the room running at us with the gun, after firing at us already, i was only mear feet away from him inside. I never even used my red dot on my rifle. Got my head over the rifle and began point shooting, following his body with my rifle like a pointer finger. Training training training is all I can say. Absolute point shooting there in the begining. To close to "aim" in the traditional sense

GoGun's rifle gas pedal is great for this (RS2 maybe? Chinese airsoft knockoffs of the same serviceable) and FAB & others also make a thumb rest that allows for the same...

  • @mfallen6894
    @mfallen6894 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +20

    5.56 is excellent out to 200 to about 300m depending on barrel length/projectile. Inside 100yd it's devastating on soft tissue, let alone cases like this where it's impacting at essentially muzzle velocity. Certainly you can say the same about many other intermediate and short-action rounds, but really they only replace 5.56 when you need to reach out to 300m and further, THAT is where a .308/7.62 NATO, 6.5CM, 6mmARC, 6.8x51, etc makes sense. But in CQB settings, why would you want the extra recoil/muzzle blast (if not running a can) extra weight/lower ammo load-out/etc/etc if you don't need it? Anyone claiming 5.56 isn't excellent from zero to ~250m is trying to sell you something, lol
    Interesting break-down, Mike. I find it fascinating that as little as 5 years ago all the defense experts were claiming the next major war would be entirely push-button, unmanned, AI/Robo war. Yet here in Ukraine it might as well be 1916, as the fighting techniques seem more similar to WWI for the guys in the literal trenches! Now I'm seeing videos in my rec's saying that if WWIII occurs it's going to be closer to the 30 years war in the 17th century than WWII. Predicting future conflicts is a damned hard job! So many variables that have to be considered amongst so many different groups of people, in pretty much any & all biomes and terrain on the face of the earth. So I can see why so many people throughout history have failed to predict what future wars will look like.

      Wed need to stop funding Ukraine and help Russia instead. We have caused so much harm to the Russian peacekeepers. We need to make up for everything we've done to Russia by sending Russia the weapons it needs. People need to understand that Biden is Ukraine and Ukraine is Biden. Stop complicating more than that. Ukraine is the one who attacked Russia by attacking Russian forces when they entered Ukraine to liberate Eastern and Southern Ukraine from Ukrainian occupation. Had Ukraine just given Russia what it wanted, then all of this could have been avoided. Russia is just defending itself.
      Sadly now other countries will look at Ukraine and think they can do the same. They will think they have the right and ability to resist Russia when Russia rightfully liberates Russian speaking parts of the Baltic states, Finland, Poland, and Georgia. So many people are going to be harmed because of this resistance to Russian power. It's very sad.
      We need to dissolve NATO before this happens, though. If the US stays in NATO then it will lead to WWIII when the NATO war mongers try to stop Russia from doing what it needs to do in Poland, Finland, Baltic states, and maybe even Germany. The US needs to leave NATO before it gets into a war with Russia that it cannot handle. The entirety of NATO is no match for the superior and powerful Russian military. You'd think Russia's success in Ukraine would have put the NATO warmongers into their place, but they don't seem to care that NATO forces are very inferior.

You just don't have the site distance or the time to aim down your sights. The time it would take to put your your weapon on target using sites, you won't have to worry about it because you'll already be smoke checked and your team members will be stripping all your kit off your dead body. Its definitely treacherous in those trenches it seems. You better have your shit wired tight and not lose focus or situational awareness for a second. Even if your best friend next to you gets dusted off. You can't hesitate or let your mind think of anything else except watching your corners covering your team mates 6 until you know every single enemy combatant in that trench lines brain is shut off forever.
