hi! I just discovered your content and find it super inspiring!. As a teenage girl who's been going to the gym for about a year, I’m curious about a few things. I'm a bit scared to switch to a 24-hour gym since some guys from school train there, and I worry about that vibe. Do you have any tips for working out alone, especially for training bench and squatting heavy until failure? Also, what’s your workout split like? lol i know maybe 2 other girls who go to the gym at all, but they both live super far away from me, and they are both pro athletes so it would not be fun to compare the weight i am lifting to they weight they are. Lastly, what time do you usually go to bed to get to the gym early, and how do you make your workouts as fun as possible? Thanks so much for your help! 💪✨
@@AlexWright2 hi alex!! tysm for the feedback🌸 I'm happy to help you and give you some tips, I'm a little busy right now but I'll make sure to reply to all of your questions in a few hours/tomorrow!! 🫶
@@AlexWright2 okay, here we go... First of all, you should embrace your "GYM-GIRL-SELF" confidently (trust me, there's nothing to be embarassed about, it is a part of you that makes you SO COOL), there's no need to be afraid that the guys see you! To be honest, they might not even care that much, everyone is so focused on themselves, and even if they say anything about it they'll probably forget in like 2 days. remember, if anyone judges you, it's because they're jealous, and secretly admire you for going to the gym! Switching to a 24h gym is so worth it if you're a morning person like me. If you think that going before school is the right choice for you and your routine, then go for it!! I always workout alone and I've always prefered it that way so it wasnt hard for me to get used to it, so I dont have a lot of tips :') but there are SO MANY videos on youtube of girls giving advice on it and how to overcome gym anxiety! I guess my only tip is to view your gym session as YOUR OWN MOMENT to shine, feel strong and work on YOURSELF, so if you're alone it's even better and you're able to be more focused. I usually dont bench till failiure so I cant give you so much advice but I know it can be intimidating... but whenever I do it, I just ask someone random at the gym that seems friendly/sees me there often to spot me if I'm nervous it will go wrong! and people usually dont mind. now about squatting till failiure, I know it seems SO SCARY but I guess you just really need to build the courage internally and go for it, the side bars on the barbell rack will keep you safe no matter what so just embrace the fear and realize that to GAIN you NEED to go till failiure and do the hard things. Maybe I will do a future video on my workout split so stay tuned :) Do not compare!! You are your ONLY ompetition, and you should just compare to your past self and always try to be better than you once were, never be focused on what others are doing and if they are better than you. the most important is that YOU are improving. Ideally I would be sleeping at 9 to get at least 7h of sleep, but unfortunately with my busy school schedule and routines that isnt possible most nights, so I go at 10 (wich isnt optimal, but its what works this season of life) workouts are not always fun, some days im unmotivated and dont feel like stepping into the gym, but whenever I start and get the hardest excercised done I feel AMAZING and want to keep going with my workout! often I find going to the gym fun because I really love it and add a lot of variety to it, but on the days It doesnt feel fun, it just takes starting. hope i helped
