dunno if you guys gives a damn but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend these days xD
Just bought one and tried first time today. Wouldn't uncoil the wire when new. After 15 minutes of frustration, figured out the "spring" position slides in the groove. Slide "spring" end to uncoil (I grabbed the wire, pulling hook impossible). Then reslide (never remove) the spring end to the other side to get the pulling action. Cheap harbor freight stuff, but hey works for small jobs.
Just so everyone knows if you have the 8k or 4K come along if the handle starts bending that’s a safety mechanism the handle is meant to bend before the cable snaps so you don’t kill your self by getting hit by a piece of metal with 4Klbs built up in it
Glad you mentioned the cheap 12v HF electric winch. It's worth the extra $$$, especially if you can get it on sale for $50.00. The remote works well on it. A nice feature. I'm using the hand winch right now to stretch a slightly too small serpentine belt, and it's great for something like that. That sliding spring to reduce tension is a bit of a pain to operate.
Thank you for the video it was very helpful. The spring is the key to go from pulling to release. Now why didn’t they make that point in the instructions. You saved the day!😃
If you don’t like the lock part you’ve never needed it to pull serious weight, trust me that lock part is real nice when you got 6klbs built up on it and don’t want it slipping straight back at you I’ve had it happen be careful especially when by yourself granted these was a pretty easy task
I bought an American Cable Puller from ACE Hardware. The directions were horrible. After watching a video, I found out house to operate it. The cable unwind was hard, and had to use my big boy muscles to pull it out. The Harbor Freight tool looks very similar. Mine worked fine which I used it, but markings on the puller would be a great help. Levers displayed in this video show a clear operation better than any printed instructions.
I bought one didn’t like this one , you gotta f around with it too much, very nice video though did better than me with it, I also like the cut on the 4x4s makes for a nice sled, good idea💡
They have a 1200lb, 4000 and 8000Lbs ones. The 4000LB one is $22 at harbor freight. The one shown in this vid is 1200LBs so spend the extra like $5 and get the 4000 one. Im gona get the 4000lb one as I dont have one and never know when I may need it.
@@johnle231thank you I put it on my tow dolly.... Looking to get an electric winch with synthetic lines.. I have a 96 4runner and the samurai.. want one winch that I can swap out between the 2 trucks... Looking at the xbull units right now

Dam, that's pretty impressive. Always like people going the extra mile for human safety.

Could this pull a metal safe onto a trailer
Thanks for the video
Yes it definitely works
Thanks. Helped a lot!
Your welcome!
Great video , do you think it could be used to pull a car frame an inch or two?
yes if you got some sort of sliding surface like concrete or wheels to slide it.
Thanks!
Thanks for the vid! I bought one, threw out the instructions, and needed this!
thank you for watching
Those instructions are worthless anyway. You didn’t lose anything by discarding them.
Awesome video and loved the magic trick great review thank you for sharing friend.

Thanks for the video, very informative
Could not see how you released the tension to unhook the cable?
Check out 2:07 move that small lever to disengage. Once you have that use the big lever to release one by one to release pressure
