    Hi, Miranda my question is when filing or reporting the taxes within that state, is it only the miles driven once you enter that state do we report or from where you picked the load up. So, say from a neighboring state driving to New York do we report the miles from pick up to drop off location as a total trip for that tax report or once we touch New York start recording thosemileage. As a freight dispatcher I plan on handling all of the owner's operator back-office paperwork so my next question is should I charge 10% for back-office and load search/planning, or with my current 7% per gross load and charge $1 to $2 dollars per back-office page filled out by me as needed. Love your content I plan on purchasing your dispatching course as well, thanks for all you do to educate the community of the trucking industry, and helping to help people maintain their situation as an owner operator.

    Hi, Miranda! Lots of thanks to you for these productive videos! I have a question regarding the MCS 150 Form. If there is a change in company's information (ex: several trucks added) does the form need to be updated right away or it has to be updated when it comes it's due date (in 2 years from now) and only then I add all the information that has been changed? Thank you in advance! Sending hugs 🤗

    Hi Miranda
    Please can you explain the difference between MCS-90, MCS-150 and BMC-91?

    • @TruckingMadeSuccessful
      @TruckingMadeSuccessful  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! MCS150 is the biennial update- you have to file it every 2 years or if there is a change within your company. Form BMC91 is a document submitted to the FMCSA that guarantees that you, as a carrier, have enough liability insurance. MCS90 is an endorsement that you must carry with you in your DOT folder showing that you have proper insurance.

    • @TruckingMadeSuccessful
      @TruckingMadeSuccessful  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I will make a video on what apps I use to keep organized- for reminders I use an app called 2Do. Love it! In terms of correcting your mistake, you have to go back to the URS (Unified Registration System)- this is the same system that you used to apply for a DOT and MC number. Instead of New Applicant, click Returning Applicant. Imput your user id and password that you created when you were applying and then correct your mistakes. The other option is simply request a DOT pin with the fmcsa and update your information through form MCS150 (through the online FMCSA portal)!
