The burned tokens are from the treasury, from the founding members, developers, etc. or sometimes members may decide to buy tokens that are already on the market and then burn those. Let me know if this was helpful

In most cases the Fully Diluted Valuation might go down, as most of the tokens burned are tokens that are not in circulation, thus not affecting the market cap

This process of token burning is incredibly stupid. As dumb as if your bank would burn the notes you deposited at their place in order to neutralize money printing by the central bank. In the meantime, your notes were burnt and somebody has to lose a lot in this process (either you, or your bank if they guaranteed in some way the amount; and for sure liquidity of the whole notes market is highly jeopardized)

Yes you can, if you want to burn your tokens, all you need to do is send them to the burning address of that specific protocol.
