I remember as a kid, 8 or 10, our parents wouldn't let us see this movie - even when uncles and aunts and cousins came over for the holidays. One night, we snuck to the basement, and 2 uncles were watching Beta Max and drinking beer. They said we could stay if we didn't rat them out.

This is a wonderful film that has a beautiful cast etc, snd it's so sad to hear that some of them have now died. God bless them all, nay they rest in peace 😮❤❤❤❤.
