    Love the quality of your products that I’ve seen so far. I’ve ordered a custom katana and I’m also thinking of buying a tanto or wakizashi soon too. Keep up the great work 👍

    Hello, I was wondering if 9260 spring steel is corrosion/rust resistant or not?

    • @swordsofnorthshire4658
      @swordsofnorthshire4658  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Shaggy, 9260 spring steel can still rust and needs to be oiled, though it's more resistant than 1095

    How his your tamahagane steel katana cause i plan on buying one

    • @swordsofnorthshire4658
      @swordsofnorthshire4658  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Austin, our tamahagane steel is similar in carbon content and functionality to clay tempered 1095. We only suggest it as a collector's sword or if the tradition/forging process is an important part of your decision

    Is the leather wrap better than silk(durability, grip)?

    • @swordsofnorthshire4658
      @swordsofnorthshire4658  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The leather wrap is comfortable and doesn't fray as much as silk, the one downside is that the grip can get slippery if your palms sweat
