    Also a few things that were not explained very well to beginners like me (here in this wonderful video).
    Like .... when you create these Groups using the right click and New Group option (as you showed in your prior course)... ehmj, should we be thinking of these Groups kind of like Departments of an Organization? Like Sale Department would have a Sales Group, and Marketing Department would have its own Marketing Group? And this way, the people in Sales Department would need to be added to Sales Group and likewise for Marketing ?
    I would also like to know... like How come these Groups that you have created, appear outside of the "Users" Container of your Active Directory? I thought Groups were created within the Users folder?
    Additionally, what is the difference between these Group Folders and OUs (organizational Units)? from the little i know, with OUs, we can assign group policies. But with regular Containers we cannot. So what about with these Group folders that you are creating. Is it common practive to assign group policies to these Group folders you have created? I ask because I had been under the impression that we can only assign Group Policy to Organizational Units (OUs)... which have a slightly different option under Properties as "Create new OU" instead of Create new Group" Right? So please explain these subtle differences between the OU and a Group.
    Thank you! Otherwise an outstanding and very clear video ! I am a huge fan

    If few shared path is not showing in groups but same groups are available in users profile to whom access was granted before. In that case how to find those shared paths in groups section

    • @techwithpri
      @techwithpri  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The shared path you can find from the shared folder itself..if you are using administrative right.

    Bother i liked your all vidoes and i learned lots by you . I have a one qustion i joined one client machine in domain era. But facing this issue when server does shutdown. Thanks bro for asking and support.
      What I understood ..that whenever you are turning off your domain machine you are unable to login in any client machine..!!
      Well thats ovio as client machines are connected with the server machine..so if you turn off the server machine.. client machine won't be part of the server anymore so any domain credentials wont work untill you turn on the server machine.

    Map Drive can be used on how many computers in the local network? how to use map drive on 50 computer with local network in win 11 .

    • @techwithpri
      @techwithpri  ปีที่แล้ว

      For mapping the drive the folder you would create in the server machine only, then you can give access to any number of user.
      It doesn't matter how many windows 11 system is there all of it has to be part of your DC and every user needs to part of the AD.

      Hey Ebo ..
      Thanks for asking..!
      In that case what you can do is that..create a folder and copy the videos and place a read-only access to that folder..so people would be able to see..but won't be able to copy and paste or cut.

    how about when I have 3 users, 1GPO, and 1 folder redirection only, so user1 can only have desktop and downloads, user2 can only have documents and Pictures, and user3 can only have Videos.

    • @techwithpri
      @techwithpri  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So you can put them in different group or OU and then apply GPO.

    • @techwithpri

      You can create it simply by going in AD and create users under user section.
