You are an absolute legend man
Thanks. Happy to help!
Is there any way to remove the touch screen layer to use the screen as non-touch and get rid of the bubbles?
could you replace your dell with touch screen? Or could you at least change it for a non-touch like the one in the video?
@@Cerbz the non-touch lid assembly is completely different, and also a non-touch screen might not be compatible with the video "card" on the mobo.
Got it apart , have a new touch screen (which is different than the video) and had to 2way tape it back together... may need to use black RTV. the trick is to get it back together...watching video in reverse....
Can't you just remove the screen without disassembling the entire computer?
You can. I did it on my e7250 today. Stupid Dell and their leaking LCD screens.
Yes you can....just remove the bezel and 4 small retaining screws, disconnect the panel connector and replace in reverse.
The cut at 3:35 pisses me off, I cannot figure out of to get that cable through that hole and you just skipped right over it
just kinda fold it sideway slightly and you can remove that. I tried that and it works fine
Thank you ..
