This is a prototype vegetable transplanter developed for walk behind tractors. Small scale farms that primarily use walk behind tractors for field work could save time and money on energy intensive operations like transplanting.

I did not see anywhere that the operator would place the tray of plants to feed the machine. This would be ideal for a small hobby farm.
