How this guy doesn’t understand that going for more than 2 mines weakens you so significantly that not only you surrender middle which gifts the enemy a free mine for a big portion of the game but also giving them the tower gold. And then he keeps on blaming the map. Dunning Kruger at its finest
Latest version fixes a few of the issues that were so frustrating this game including: reducing health of mirror image, reducing hero item slot from 6 to 4. Would have made a big difference for your first game!
"no air" seems like the dumbest homebrew rule for DS mixed. a gamemode already largely determined by unit and hero rng is made even worse by making it so you arent even allowed to build some units that you might rng. i mean sure massing t3 air, especially wyrms, get incredibly powerful lategame if the enemy cant do the same (or have siege engines) but you could just push to end the game before that happens
If you think this gets one sided, you should try the starcraft version its based on. Especially the commanders game mode. Youd be surprised how one sided it can be if one guy is newer to the game.
Unfortunate that the things they seemed to change for this map are the things that made it so unbalanced. Although maybe those are just the ones we noticed. I think they nerfed meat wagon damage, and may have done other things helpful. Doesn’t mirror image do 0 damage in melee? Having a bm that can be buffed with items as strongly as it can PLUS making it so that’s a unit that can multiply into 3, essentially giving a person 3 insanely strong heroes is bogus. Also the banshee issues addressed in the video of course made it an impossible fight. A 90 degree uphill battle with 200% gravity.
BM needs to be banned. That boy just doesnt die. And the Banshees need to go down with it. Funny that 2 times you had to play against both. Not like one side gets BM the other Banshees or something no.

My vote is do more castle fight. Those are some of my favorites.
Mirror image now does some damage in melee as of the last couple of patches.
